Description
An elite TIE Defender squadron, Onyx Squadron TIEs were modified to remove the ion cannons and the concussion missiles. Onyx TIEs features 6 green imperial lasers in the wing tips and a pair of light mass drivers in the chin mounts.
Special Ability:
power to weapons (diverts shield power to weapons)
increased health

What you did here on the original TIE-Defender concept and style is beyond amazing. Especially the amazing looking cockpit with all the details on it catches the eye. Damn good!
Thank you :) It is my fav TIE Fractal's designed so far, I did spent quite a bit of time modelling it. His reimagined Hunter is very good aswell.
All the cockpit details were created by Revan and myself. Jeroen created the basic model, which Revan edited to add the details.
Wings were also recreated by using the TIE interceptor's wings with additional edits by Revan.
How many more of these fancy squadrons do you guys plan on doing? Will the Hutts be able to get in on the action?
is there a sunlight,rainy and snowy squadron?

Something I just noticed that I can't explain, when you look at the ship your eyes just kind of snap to the cockpit. Also pretty ship, and I love Mass Drivers so Onyx Squad may just be a favorite of mine.
by mass drivers do you mean general purpose warhead launchers?
