This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.

this mod i believe must bee reaching its limits, its fantastic, the only thing that could make this better would be to have the wall hubs as component tower like in TS, apart from that, this mod is going sway further than any other mod has done

The one thing that could make it better to me is if the SAM turrets were availible as pairs like everything else and if each turret hub had a $500 6 sec upgrade to add another turret up to 4-5

Actually, if I'm not wrong, the Forgotten Mod could manage themselves to use create turrets which could be upgraded with Anti-Infantry or Anti-Vehicle weapons, I don't think that it's impossible.

You are correct. In the forgotten mod, power plants can be weaponized and it works pretty much the same way it did in C&C2.

Excellent addition! How are they set so far to interact with the walls? Can you place them in between the sections?

Oh, and by the way, the symbols are inverted.

Holy crap is that a working gate?? I've read, on a few separate occasions, that that was impossible because of the engine. Mind blown!

Amazing! This is a simple and yet very complicated accomplishment that is a dream come true for all of us fans :D Now the walls will feel complete and they look great!

I only have one concern, though. At the moment, is the length of these gates that we see fixed? Or can the length be varied, depending on the distance between the two hubs? (Just like in Age of Empires III, for example, with a limit for how narrow and wide it can be) If the length can vary, I think that is great. If it is going to be a fixed length, to be honest, I feel it is a bit short right now and if it were just one or maybe two more wall segment longer in length, it’d be just right – I am thinking of the larger units like the MKII, where it looks like it can barely squeeze through, if it is able to.

Even with these gates so useful, it's hard to tell some people really want them as a source code release one day.

Awesome now all you also have to add is my favorite light tower which u saw in several missions.

It wont serve any gameplay aspect but it'll look great or let an alert sound play when some unit crosses the light beam.

Awesome,
1 suggestion though:
Maybe change Nod one from Beton to lasers since their standard fence has become Laser Fence. Their standard wall was beton and gate fit that in TS.

I love the concept, its fantastic! I used to love to take my time and build a good looking base against an easy opponent in TS and got dissapointed in C&C3, Only problem is that I can't build it ingame, Could I be doing something wrong?

I have a better idea for the NOD gate, Instead of just sliding down, the two halves split vertically on the edges of the NOD insignia, and then the logo goes down. Just a thought.

Will the Nod Turrets be able to retract into the ground when no enemies near like the Lasers in Tib Sun?

Description

Gdi and Nod gates. Not quite the same as TS version, nor it works the same way, you have to manually swith in between open and close status, but it seems to be the only way that works well. I dont know how well this going to be really usefull in multiplayer game, but so far its quite a fun and TE would be incomplete without them, right?
