This modification offers an alternative gameplay to Tiberian Wars involving many Tiberian Sun units which many CnC fans (like me) missing in vanilla CNC3 and add even new my made units which you can't find anywhere else. Story is quite the same like Tiberian Wars, but is all about what if GDI and Nod do not abandon technologies they have used in Tiberian Sun era and instead of that further developed them. But it's not only that, there are many visual, sound and balance changes which I want to see and hear in my mod, new sounds, new music, new effects (like blood and gore, new infantry deaths, new more realistic missile trails) and many more.

You could have the Looted Pitbull as a unit from some reinforcement power, just like the Predator. Better than the Humvee in many aspects, but only available from a support power.

That'd be nice. I'm not sure about the scale of the humvee, but if it's bigger than the APC, then maybe you can transport 2 infantry squads in it.

as most of the people know you can't put more then 1 squad in it because then they will be stuck in it somehow :/ EA fixed this for kw by changing the engine a bit but carnius is unable to do that

Good question. That is exactly what im worry about too. Its cool to have mutants back with all this extra stuff, but all this units should only support your forces not replace them. Some restrictions must be applied to avoid that that is sure.

Since they are all scrapped vehicles with old technology armor and rusty weak bodies, their main disadvantage should be less armor than their main faction counterparts.

For this reason I suggest Mutants should be the 4th side. Looted Pitbull should be the early scout with stealth detector and good firepower against air units (like Seeker for Scrin), Humvee is more suited for transport unit and early infantry killer. So there is no need to replace it. Rhe most important thing is to keep in mind the exact role and purpose for each unit.

Oh well, if the space inside isn't enough then put infantry squad behind like a pick up. :p Jokes apart, if you think the old fashioned war bus or war camper are better infantry transport, it's fine for me. For the rest, do you have some other suggestions give it a different role from Looted Pitbull?

If the Forgotten get to become the 4th faction, the Humvee just should not be so versatile, it'd be horrible for balance, the Humvee would fit the role of scout\t1 AP vehicle, while the Pitbull would be the scout\t1 AA-AT vehicle. For the mutants I imagine something more.. armored, like the Battle Fortress in RA2.

But let's focus on 1.5. I believe that the Humvee as a transport is a horrible idea, well, even having some sort of APC for the Forgotten is a horrible idea, all the factions have one, a mutant APC is not needed. But since you want the Looted Pitbul in (as I do), I will give you some way to keep it. Make it available only through some kind of reinforcement power available from the Hovel and once you have an airgield structure. There comes some big TD Hercules aircraft and drops the Pitbuls off at a special location. The Pitbuls have slightly more armor, are faster and deal slightly more damage than the Humvee.

@Oaks: The Forgotten do deserve some custom-made tank, not just a scrapped unit they found, but something they made themselves out of parts they got.

You mean a reinforcement unit like the Predator for GDI? Ok, but if you don't want the transport ability then the small stealth detection is needed.

For the rest i still need to understand if the mastodon is the MBT or a late game unit.

The humvee got replaced by the wolverine. Tech wise shortly after the first tiberium war after the War enviroment started changing due to the effects of tiberium. And thus the Wolverine was born. A one man operated light walker with duel chain/machine guns designed to take out infantry and light armor threats.
