A little ingame test. It's not animated, or rigged for that matter, yet. I probably will have to decrease its size a bit since it's bigger than a GDI Airfield right now.

well the Mammonth MK2 in TS was much bigger then an airfield, so the size wouldn't be a problem here...

But no mather the size, its awesome

I don't think bricks would accurately convey the "FML" factor when one of these guys is marching towards you. Maybe metal girders (like one of these: Images.easyart.com)?

Awsome! looks like a walking kodiak. Is nod getting something like this?, im thinking something stealthed or subterranean. It seems a bit op with the mkII and kodiak(is the kodiak still going to be playable?)

The Kodiak is playable, but the MKII hasn't been in TA for over a year now, and isn't going to return. This replaces the MKII.

Nod has their ways to counter GDI's heavy stuff.

WHAT?!? This ladybird with guns replaced the most iconic weapon in Command & Conquer legend? Your choice at the end of the day. But I still can't believe it! Woul not mind if it was added but replacing?! Heh!

GDI has advanced from the MKII. If anything this is proof.

It is based on the MKII, but the MKII with its long legs ultimately made problems. This could loose up to three legs and keep going, the MKII would topple with loosing a single one.

so are we going to be able to take out the legs with shadows or normal units?

will this hav a husk like the juggernuat?, it would help balance as nod can capture one, i would also keep the size for maximum epic
and for all the mammoth fans just pretend its a mk8 mammoth or somthin

Reephamike : Iconic for you maybe. I don't really find a shoe box shaped mech as iconic or cool. This is superior in any possible way to the mk2 imo. And this is an evolution of TS, not a copy. There's plenty of mods for cnc3 that have the mk2 for your satisfaction. From time to time change IS GOOD.

Wait.. all those legs have little arrows on them..

Are they ranks? Are each of the legs rookies?

Wow, separately leveling up legs, GENIUS!

Excellent design. The name is awesome as well. I am just wondering about specs. Will the be like the MARV with a cost of 5000 and a build limit or be cdheaper at maybee 3000. Awesome Star Wars based design.

Yeah, I'd say keep the size there, but something this huge almost always makes a poor assault unit, I'd say relegate it to support. Mounted railguns are supposed to be more of a long range artillery piece than anything(GDI misuses them frequently), so I'd expect to see those massive specimens put towards long distance suppression. Next, I think a support ability, like defensive horde bonus for infantry, and maybe even docking points for one or two aircraft. Seeing as the model doesn't really accommodate that last thing, maybe it'd be an upgrade?

But, all that considered, if you still feel this deserves an assault role, I'd say make it an APC that can house multiple squads, but infantry can't shoot out of it, maybe keep that horde bonus too.

How fast are you planning to make the turn speed of that heavy walker ?

Slow for balance purposes ?

We all do except the few people who must have actually played it. Never even took a second look at the game, never will. Its too far away from CnC to be called CnC anymore. The only ties left is as far as I can tell the one actor. Joe. -.-

Does the Cnc 3 engine prevent upgrades to the units similar to how the mechapede bought upgrades? Just curious.

CnC 4 isn't a CnC game, it was originally meant for the Asian mmo market, but was later converted to the end of the tiberium series to Quote:"Boost Sales". I did buy it, worst game ever. I suggest playing that Atari E.T. game over CnC4.
