Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.
Do people actually play on naval maps?
I do, they are my favourites.
I don't like to play naval to be honest
The balance changes in version 1.15 will hopefully make you like playing with (and against) naval units more.
I hate how op some of the ships in OpenRA are. Good thing that the ships were nerfed
From what I can tell from online games, most people do enjoy naval maps (maps where there's ground routes to enemies, but using ships is also an option).
Naval-only maps like this (where there's no ground route to the enemy) aren't played that often though. The reason could be that there are only a few maps that are like this however.
Okay. I just wasn't too sure. I've only played so many games of DTA.
