Dawn of the Tiberium Age (DTA) is a stand-alone mod that combines Tiberian Dawn (C&C 95) and Red Alert. While classic mode gets as close to the original game-play and balance as possible, Enhanced mode provides improved game balance and a lot of fun new stuff. DTA features many customization options for Skirmish and multiplayer (where you can play as GDI, Nod, Allies and Soviet on over 200 maps), challenging original singleplayer missions, as well as co-op missions. Since this is a stand-alone mod, you don't require anything but the mod itself to be able to play: the original game is not required.
A new multiplayer map (by Lin Kuei Ominae) that has been included in DTA version 1.1486, which has just been released.
wow looks very amazing remake
It's not a remake though :P
oops don't know you reply me yeah
i mean revisited sorry :)
yeah pretty cool revisited map
nice job
This map is a masterpiesce!
how big is it?
193 tiles wide, 204 tiles tall => 39 372 tiles of visible area in total.
Impressive though the snow area could possibly need few minor snow villages. Looks little empty at the moment. But the addition to detail overall is impressive.
To be fair, there is the damaged base in the snowy area, and there appears to be a few houses by the small bridge just west of that base. Personally though I'd spread some snow patches throughout more of the map, as the snow seems to stop kinda abruptly. Other than that, this map looks amazing. :D
Yes, there is a small village on the snow mountain, though hard to see on the "small" preview. (Also a few iglos on the top of the mountain)
The snow stops at the base of the mountain. It was meant to have snow only on the higher regions, thus also the small snow hill in the top middle.
There are several frost tiles placed to make the transition from snow to temperate a bit softer though. I think when zooming in or viewing it in original game size, the transition is soft enough.
Thanks for the feedback.
These kind of maps with distinct zones are neat, good job.
