If you're a programmer, developer or modder in the StarCraft's engine, this may be good news for you.

The plugin source for StarCraft:V is now available to everyone, and all future updates!

You can download the source and use it for your own mod, improve the code or make suggestions.

The code is available in GitHub and you can download it in This Page.

This is a modification from Undeadstar/BoomerangAide for the General Plugin Template Project , originally created by A_of_s_t and modified by RavenWolf and pastelmind.

This version of GPTP works under Microsoft Visual c++ 2008 Express Edition. The current code is optimized to work for SC:V, but it can be adapted without major problem to any work.

I think it would be great to add some new units, but you shouldn't remove
the old ones.
It can be a problem for the larva system, when you play the zerg, but
I think the solution that the "Starcraft Revolution" mod team made,
is quite good, so it would be possible.
My suggestion for the mod would be to add the corruptor and the ability
to morph into a broodlord for the zerg.
But please, don't remove the old air units, because than the "zerg airforce" gain a lot more variation, abilities and can react to different strategies.

I'm new to all this modding.... How do u use cpp files for the mod?

You can't... directly.
The thing you can do is to create a .qdp file and load it into firegraft.
For example: GPTP is a bunch of .cpp and .h files. When you compile the project, a .qdp file is created in the debug (or release) folder.

The only files you can add to a mod are "aMPQfile".mpq and "aQDPfile".qdp via Firegraft. The .mpq is loaded when you save the .exe, the .qdp is loaded at the last tab (plugin) in firegraft.

Inside the .mpq you can save more files, like unit's .grp, .wav, .bmp, .dat, etc.
