The Dominion warship designated the 'Hydra' by Starfleet lives up to its name. Like the terrible beast of mythology, an immense sea serpent with countless heads that prowled the seas of ancient Greece, this Hydra is also a beast of many vicious, fanged heads capable of striking from all directions and overwhelming its prey with cunning, terror and brute strength.
The Hydra is the Dominion fleet's heavy carrier, equipped with vast hangars filled with swarms of deadly fighters and bombers helmed by specially bred Jem'Hadar pilots. Characteristic of Dominion warships, these tiny strike craft are far deadlier than their small size would convey, and can be launched by the Hydra in vast, overwhelming numbers. Striking larger targets from all directions, these ships can quickly send even powerful starships up in flames.
The Hydra herself also displays the ferocity for which the Jem'Hadar have become known. With devastating firepower coupled with incredible speed, it is a frighteningly effective warship even without fighter support.

Not quite. It's an original design, but it WAS inspired by a Dominion escort ship from STO. Good eye! :)
