Description
Patch 2.1.1 for MISERY 2.1. This mod production is a hybrid of various modders work in a global teamwork. MISERY is neither the best mod in the world nor is it a mod that every S.T.A.L.K.E.R. gamer will enjoy. This is a heavy 'full package' conceptualized version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat that touches almost every game aspect including graphics, audio, interface, difficulty, weapons and more. It resets vanilla Call of Pripyat with a more serious 'skin' that makes the game worth a new more intense and authentic playthrough. MISERY is all about dread, realism, high difficulty and expanded and varied content.

Well it's hard to say. Game runs fine for me regardless, the stuttering is a result of the game not being compatible with later versions of windows, but you can set to run it in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 3 and it should make the stuttering happen a lot less.
Unfortunately all it does is make me crash on game start, hopefully this gets optimized?
Crashes to desktop after pressing button to enter the zone, tried 4 reinstalls no luck :(
As a first step of solving problem of starting game, try to test whether you can run vanilla CoP properly when your reinstall CoP before install MISERY. And check your CoP version, it must be 1.6.02. Also some unstable situation can be fixed by bringing back default user.ltx.
If it will not help then we need crash log and your rig info.

I seem to have a bug where I cannot cure my radiation from the doctor in Skadovsk. I paid money for health or radiation, the rad still stays...What do?
I had same problem... When i used my anti radiation things, after few seconds radiation stopped... It will end by it self, but if you have only some vodka, then i dont know, drink vodkas and wait until radiation end's, drink 1 vodka, wait 10 seconds, drink 2 vodkas, wait 10 seconds until ends, try, or cheat money and buy some medicaments, if you dont have money, the zone is very strange place. Good luck stalker, bandit or something like that :)... (sry for bad english)
Check your inventory. All artifacts need artifact container to eliminate its radiation.
Or, if you're playing Dark Mode then you must pay attention to the constant radiation during daylight hours.

Anyway "NPCs base 'eye_range' set to 220m" can someone tell me what was the eye range before?
It was 350m before.
Can someone please explain why the radiation is so damn annoying? I understand the time taken to actually use items but it makes things needlessly difficult and most of the starting anti-radtiation items completely useless. Is there any advanced difficulty settings? Because this feature is ruining this mod for me it seems.
Sorry I went off topic on there but what I mainly mean is I can't even get past primary (at least in my eyes) objectives like "Strange Phenomenon." Because of the ridiculous amount of radiation poisoning I seem to receive even while using anti-radiation drugs,radiation reducing drugs and all kinds of whats it and do dads that reduce radiation.Only to find out I'm still radiated even after being long gone back at skadovsk and basically having to reload to try yet another attempt. Is there anyway to reduce the difficulty of the radiation as I said above this is ruining this mod for me.
Okay so sorry for the spam,I feel like a total tool for this but I forgot that carrying artifacts still effect you with their radiation and whatnot (due to the mod of course) so the whole problem was obviously me still holding the artifact. So sorry guys and good job on the mod loving it haha.
You must use artifact storage device for that. There are 4 type of containers ingame.
IAM: usable for high radiation artifacts
AAC: usable for middle radiation artifacts
AAM: usable for low radiation artifacts
Lead-lined metal container: cheapest, usable for all artifacts, but cannot attach to the belt

I have some serious bugs to report. Mainly with items. The game CTD´s every single time i try to pick up mutant loot and some items, like the advanced ecology suits and some other random items. Can you help?
It shows the fundamental failure of install. Try to install All-in-one version again.

Guys, i have problem with my save files. I want to continue my game but i cant. When i try to load save file i have game crash and its over: Program X-Ray Engine stopped working. I thought that save files are compatible. Pls, help me.

Do I need to update first AND THEN patch after I downloaded the mod?
one problem anybody tries the one shot mission? The mercenaries suddenly withdraw from the yard as if they spotted you making the mission failed automatically any help on this?
P/S: I love the Barrett M82 given in this mission
Just went ahead and installed Misery after playing for upwards of fourty hours on both complete and Standard CoP. Seemed to work fine until I tried to launch it (Both from steam and from the .exe) it starts to launch goes to the black screen and then exray engine takes an inter-dimensional trip and crashes. No crashlogs seem to survive the experience and It appears to be 100% fatal all the time. Starting to irritate if I'm honest as while Misery looks to be the best mod in terms of cool stuff. The not running thing is kind of terrible.
Maybe there were some garbage of previous mod. Before installing MISERY, you have to clean up them completely.
