Hey, I have a little problem with 2.2.1. I made a fresh, clean install of the game, checked (it works) and then after downloading and installing 2.2.1 I start the game, black screen for few seconds and then came CTD without any error.

Ive freshly installed both the core game and mod many times, made sure the installation process went smoothly and correctly, but trying to start a new game results in "xray 1.6 engine stopped working" crash, im stumped as to why. Ive tried tweaking graphic settings, deleting user.ltx, uninstalling/reinstalling things to no avail. Does anyone know of any fixes for this? No one seems to have similar issues or seems to know a solution. The core game runs fantastically, i have made multiple saves with it to ensure it all functions as it should. But this mod crashes in the loading screen when trying to start new game.

Is there a reason the installer and the game say Version 2.2 and 2.2.1? Isn't there supposed to be a difference?

I remember that I didn't have problems installing them with COP ad Misery 2.1.
But with this new release I'm getting engine crashes entering the zone.

Thanks for this hard work, it makes COP special , though we can do what we want - X-Ray does what it wants and crashes for one time in a half hour .. nevertheless one silly question in general : Can we delete the last oldest 5 saves from 10 for example, without effecting the game ? I dont know how much RAM the old saved games uses.. In COC once was said : " Keep all your saves or the game gets more crazy..." , in this sense it was said . Is the actual play depending from the old saves ? Thank you, regards from Germany.
