Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
The Golem is the latest design of the famous Uralvagonzavod Plant, responsible for much of the modernization of Russia’s Armor. Not only this tank is a heavier class than the standard Russian Kodiak but it’s made to function in the harshest environments of warfare in mind. The Golem can operate for days in ground zero where a nuclear missile has recently hit but in areas that biological warfare also affected.
How the crew can survive these conditions is a mystery not only to the public but also to the Russian military as only a chosen few have been given the honor to be inside the Golem. It has been confirmed the crew are seen using standard Russian combat chemical suits before entering the tank.

I think the real one looks taller, and the chassis is "fatter", but still nice.

It's armor is between the Kodiak and the Sentinel, so I guess it would be considered a medium tank.
is a heavy tank as the kodiak is a MBT so the sential is a super heavy tank

the nukes and other chemical stuff donst realy stay long eough to force a nation to build a unit that needs anti-nuke/chemical. unless the mods changes that...

Looks cool and I nearly fell off my chair when I saw the bars around the turret - reminded me of a carousel from my childhood days...ahhhh the good times:)
the first time i ever saw this tank was on search and destroy on teh ps2 always thought it looked a little weired with the quad tracks and the pointed front. i think its tracks are heavily exposed so in combat it could suffer
Just to note there are a few more details on the Golem as of the current version, so it looks a bit nicer than this.

Hmmm it is a soviet prototype tank design. Looks good.
His form is easy explainable. Soviet gave original Obyekt 279 such a form, because they wanted to create a tank, that won't be pushed or affected anyway from nuclear bomb's wave.
