Nice, i haven't applied to any scholarships yet but my average was the same as yours roughly (87)...
Hey, what was your Average? You prolly already know but you get a scholsarship if it's a certain amount...
I couldn't go to that because of IB D: I hope IB pays off for me as well... I know in some of the Higher level classes we learn things which we learn in first year University (like math and such).
As the years go by Wonderland seems to be more of a rip-off TBH, the food and such there is super-expensive. The rides are still all right though.
This Friday i'm going to a wonderland of IB HL History exams, next friday its a wonderland of IB HL Bio exams... lol
Unfortunately no i'm not going anywhere :P After the 18th though i'm free from IB and everything school related :D
yeah i would imagine it sucks to not hear anything from the universities... he still has to may 29th though (i think that's when all acceptances will be out)
My average was 87.5 which i thought would be good enough to get into nano on the low end, but i guess not. To be honest its the only course of it's kind in Canada i think (I don't know any other university in Canada which offers nanotech engineering.) so it's hardly surprising now that i think of it...
Either way it's not like mechanical is bad or anything, i can still master in a lot of things...
Yeah it pretty much said i won't get in to nano... something like "There were a lot of applications for your original choice".
I'm not sure what i'll go into though, mechanical is a pretty broad category of engineering so it leaves a lot of doors open for my masters degree... so i may end up going into mechanical. But at the same time i still wanna do physics and nanosciences because it involves nano. I'll have to think about it.
Just got my acceptance to Mechanical Engineering now... Didn't get into Nano though...
I applied to Physics and Nanosciences at Waterloo, and Mathematical Physics at Waterloo. I got both of those. As far as i know, Physics and Nanosciences is a lesser version of Nano Engineering... but it's still co-op so i'm fine with it.
Nice, I got 2/5... those two are physics... I'm still waiting for my engineering acceptances though.
BTW i was at the math contest last friday and saw the new nano building on the UoW Campus... it looks really cool :D
