Rise Of The Reds is an expansion mod for Generals: Zero Hour which adds the Russian Federation as a fully independent faction in addition to making extensive additions to the old factions USA, China and GLA. Later on, we will also include the European Continental Alliance as a second fully unique faction, as well as three special generals for each faction, an in-game general selection, faction-specific naval units and much more. Whether it's steamrolling Russians, indomitable European defenders, American high-tech, Chinese strength in numbers or the brutal cunning of the GLA - ROTR has a faction for everyone, all in one mod!

I really like this wallpaper update.
Beautiful and even plausable if the engine wasnt so limiting. Just saying, Rise of the reds would be even more awsome if it were done one the RA3 Engine [SAGE2?] I seen a Generals mod on it and the graphics are really amazing. hmmm perhaps a future development perhaps?
We're not planning on porting ROTR to another C&C game. For all its flaws, we're familiar with the Gens/ZH engine and our fanbase revolves around ZH's large modding community. We're also aware that many of our fans run ZH mods because newer games are more hardware-intensive and we're not going to split/alienate or otherwise disrupt our community.

The problem is that RA3 is quite difficult to mod and the code is not nearly as easy to understand. Generals code basicly explains itself.
