Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
A fast, light attack jet that has been pieced together from several Cold War era fighter planes.
It is armed with a set of powerful 20mm autocannons that perform deadly strafing runs and carry excessive amounts of ammunition, making reloads unnecessary.
Alternatively, the cannons can be replaced with rockets allowing for a more immediate and precise harrassment of light vehicles, supply lines and construction dozers.

This is an original looking aircraft much better than a crop duster that sprays toxins that every other mod with GLA seems to have.
Ugly is usually a high concentration of ingenuity, i just think u left that part of ur comment, model looks quite cool tbh, and i cant wait to shoot it down :D

Double-barreled tanks? The Russians got double-barreled Howitzers. Space-bound particle cannons? Done in 1979 or so. Robots? Been there, done that. Lasers? THEL anyone. Microwave? Active Denial System.
Oh please, the lasers and weapons presented in generals aren't anywhere near realistic. Not that that's a bad thing. They maybe based on something real, but no lasers don't shoot beams of red energy, no tank in the world even comes close to the Overlord, we are still light-years away from practical Space based weaponry and we still lack robots smart enough to roll around on the battlefield doing their own thing. No, Generals technology is the stuff of sci-fi which is what makes it interesting and fun.
Remember that Rise of the Reds takes place in the 2040's, which is currently 30 years into the future. Who knows how technology may have advanced by then?

If you want realism, try Cold War Crisis. That mod is a major pain though. I gave up on it ages ago because everything was doing realistic damage and income was minimal while the AI cheats.
The formation mode in Generals that carries over to that mod also doesn't help since you need to very carefully position your units to be successful in CWC on the other hand; the formation system in C&C 3 is so much better, it's just too bad that there will probably never be a version of Cold War Crisis on Command & Conquer 3.

Great job on both gazella and this. They absolutely suit GLA. If EA ever made helicopters and planes for GLA, they would surely look like this.

But still, for junk aircraft, looks pretty well.
May be you give it some variations as for technicals? Since "pieces of fighters" can be different?
All GLA vehicles should have variations because they didn have one mass production factory with blue prints to follow!

the only pity (re: ANY GLA air unit) is that they cannot (?) 'junk upgrade' from destroyed enemy units, like the GLA ground units can......
maybe one solution could be that GLA air units could target the junk 'crates' left by destroyed units with theyre weapons....thereby gaining the upgrade.......?
How the plane will do this?the gazela can do it but the interceptor didn have the same technology as the Harrier!

This model is nice, BUT why you can build only 2 of them? even with all General's promotions, max build limit is 2. Or it show that GLA has very limited air equipment? It's so atmospheric :3

make the Gla make more airfields and will balance the air combat with swarms of these things.(in WWII russians trained theyre young pilots with one video and 1 week training so why GLA cant just download the training videos from the china Hacker stoled computer and train pilots!
