Rise of the Reds – or ROTR for short – improves upon the C&C Generals formula while also adding its own distinct elements to it. Most notably, the mod adds two completely new factions, the tank-heavy Russian Federation and the defence-oriented European Continental Alliance. In addition, the three original factions China, USA and GLA have been greatly expanded and redesigned in a variety of ways, with several new units, buildings, powers and abilities to explore and combine in your in-game tactics.
New Sentinel model with Warden Missile Pods.
I always prefered this updgrade over the Arena
i use both, the Arena is exelent to repel rocket buggys,or USA rocket base defence
Screw manticores, this is mass producable!!!
Actually (according to the story) the HT-28M3 sentinel "black-bear" version is a single prototype monster Metal-Gear with a better 220mm gun, lets pitted against the panzies manticores.
According to the article, this is the production version of that one.
I wonder of the Black Bears are going get M4 now. *hinthintnudgenudgeeybrowwiggle*
Yeah ! My mistake... Black Bears the name of a tank crew in a strange prototype tank... Since the M3 is mass produce, I wonder as well what are these Black Bears going to drive ??? What is going to be the armor stats, the gun stats, the size stats, is it something that General Alex invented ? Is it fully upgradable ? Is it only playable in missions or it could be unlocked in the GP in multiplayer ?, is it immune to the most dangerous weapons (radiations, nerve agents, etc.) ?
I guess their own version would probably still have some nifty little tricks that were either added by the crew, for the crew or subsequently removed from production on account of cost and simplicity so it would still be at an at least slight advantage even if its crew was to be replaced by one from a standard version.
Having the thing available in skirmish and multiplayer does sound like a nice idea. Maybe the way Company of Heroes does it with its Panzer Ace and Pershing abilities?
That would be so AWESOME !!! If I recall, during operation Barbarossa there was a single experimental KV-2 tank that caused so much embarassment to the Wermacht.
at a crossroads near Raseiniai, a single KV-2 heavy tank managed to block the advance of elements of the 6th Panzer Division, which had established bridgeheads on the Dubysa. It stalled the German advance for a full day while being attacked by a variety of anti-tank weapons, until it finally ran out of ammunition.

the missiles look a bit more subtle than before
Again, awesome!
And those, um, "cow-catchers" look badass. >:D
It's extra satisfying to run over people in a spiky tank.
