The Multigunner Gyrocopter was designed to provide an equivalent to the Soviet Twinblade's close fire support. Available early to the Allied forces, the Multigunner Copter is cheap, fast, and when an infantry is placed within, very well armed. Though it's armour is extremely thin, with coordination with other Allied air elements it can be very effective.
I dont really get the feeling of hovering death from this:(
maybe if you added little bunkers on the side for the infantry to garrison like the B17 ball gunner turret

It's an extremely light combat helicopter, very cheap too (as it's unarmed when you build it) that works best in numbers. In a group with several different weapon loadouts that are easily a match for the twinblade.
Twinblade is anti-surface
So is, for the most part, the Multicopter. I meant match in abilities, not "capable of shooting it down" though if you put certain units into the Multicopter it can do that, too.

I think gyro means its a two bladed copter.. like the model shows.. n_n
gyrocopter means the engine doesnt propell the big rotor: the rotor doesnt have an engine. It works more like an airplane, and the rotor rotates because the gyrocopter moves forward.
