A Play style page Thread - Red Alert 3 Paradox mod for C&C: Red Alert 3

What do you guys think of a play styles page being created on the wiki (or here)? The page discerns between the play styles of the different factions and points out the differing ways in how each factions plays, and their strengths and weaknesses.

I'd rather see a player playstyle :p

why not, a nice guide on the general playing of the factions would be handy for newcomers

Yeah, like an opposite to the faction bibles.

A potential problem with that is that there are quite a few ways to play the factions, which is the intent of Paradox.

That said, some kind of beginners guide could be helpful to those who are both new and manage to find it, but a player play-style guide would be more interesting.

(Things like "GriffinZ spams Conscripts!" and "SEA-106 will beat you every game, with every faction, on every map!")

i think i'll make a wiki page for player by player style.

generally showing the differences and strengths of each factions and why their units make each unique, + I'm gonna be honest I'm not a bad player myself. I might see into putting up basic starts for beginners but the rest is up to them.

I can do soviets, well old soviets. I'm not so sure about all the additions though.

I'm not bad, but I don't get much practice and do not own paradox or even ra3 at the moment

well you can start by dling par and playing some games with fellow members, do you own steam?

Yah, but I might need to repeat, I DO NOT OWN RED ALERT 3 so how can I use the paradox units.
Oh and here's a suggestion for the guide. For each faction, you should state at least one tactic as well as a general strategy for each faction

If you have installed it on your computer than you should be able to run it, even if you don't have the CD.

Thing is, the last time (and only time) I had ra3 was for xbox360 so I need to get it again. I still know enough about them to make strategies that sound good in theory, but it might not work in practice

And GriffinZ's conscipt strategy works rather well, but it works better in ra2 where you could build cloning vats. My strategy is to do the same as him, but with smaller numbers and kirovs instead of 'scripts

The industrial plant actually makes me want to play as the Soviets njon competitively. But also makes me fear Z's Script rushes more and more.

$50 conscripts, 0:01 build time? I'm scared. At least he doesn't rush. With enough time I will be able to buid enough sentry guns and rocket platforms to kill the hordes of spetnaz conscripts GriffinZ builds, and enough Kirov's to turn his base, army, and AA units to rubble

Oh and I can't wait to see how many more kirovs I can build when I have a lvl 3 industrial plant. You are lucky this isn't ra2, I would of destroyed you with a solid wall of bombs

If your opponent has not attacked you by the time you have a kirov they're doing it wrong.
