Take and Hold Tree
Fists of Fury: All melee units gain a small offensive and defensive upgrade.
Rapid Deployment: Deployable vehicles in the radius gain a temporary speed increase.
Mutagen Wave:1 All infantry in the radius are converted into Awakened. (Yuri the meaning in my life, Yuri the inspiration...!)
Mutagen Storm:1 Largest Mutagen Wave available!
Field Ops: Deployed vehicles gain a large defensive increase.
Attrition Tree
Zodiac Fury: All "Zodiac" bonuses provide a further 20% increase.
Forbidden Village:2 All buildings (not walls or turrets) cause weak damage over time to enemies within range for the duration of the effect. Deployable structures have shorter range. Units within area of effect slowly become Jaded (see below). The "Forbidden" protocol set caries a very flashy visual cue.
Heavenly Bounty: Converts Jaded units directly into funds for China.
Sacrosanct: Infantry in garrison gain a 20% range increase, defensive structures gain a 15% range increase.
Forbidden City:2 Longest range, longest lasting.
Buff Tree
Festival:3 Aura centered around a target location; all explosive weapons within radius gain increased damage for the duration of the effect.
Trepidation:4 Units in radius temporarily have decreased rate-of-fire and increased movement rate (opposite of Emperor's Rage set).
Celebration:3 Festival, but all explosive weapons also gain improved damage radius.
Intimidation:4 Improved Trepidation.
New Year:3 Celebration, but all explosive weapons also gain improved rate-of-fire.
1: "Mutagen" protocol set
2: "Forbidden" protocol set
3: "Festival" protocol set
4: "Terror" protocol set
Jaded status effect: Certain Chinese units will be able to petrify enemies gradually. It works much like the Allied cryo effect, but it generally takes longer... and is permanent. A unit afflicted with the full Jade effect will become green, crystalline, indestructible, and for all intents and purposes, dead. Jaded units stay in place like statues until either the game ends or the Heavenly Bounty effect sells them for the Chinese player's benefit.
Many radiation weapons will cause the Jade effect.
Very good, Protocols. :)
awesome
You do realize that each of your tree branches has 6 nodes while the UI allows only 3*5, right?
We are updating it to have 3*6 instead of 3*5.
If it's still the same like in TW you can't implement new UI elements... and I'm pretty sure it is.
I'm pretty sure it will be possible.
It has also been stated that there will be many differences in the RA3 SDK
...which does not include licence agreements and 3rd-party content.
However, it was only a hint nothing more. I didn't isult the mod in any way. If you, Vikestart, feel like downvoting everything you don't agree with, then just go on but let me tell you it's sort of ridiculous.
If we find that we can't extend the UI, we'll just get rid of 3 protocols for each new faction and scrap the new ones for existing factions.
But we will try really, really hard to extend the UI. It may be possible - they extended the production list for all factions in Uprising from 3x3 to 3x4 - and if it is you can bet we'll go ahead with it.
(buried)
I downvoted you because I don't agree with you. That's what the system is for. You got 1 less "vote" for your post.
Nice protocols i think though that maybe there should a little more diversity in some of them like the one thats opposite the emerors rage is just kinda feels like its too similar you know? although if you cant find anything else then itd be ok too :)
Diversity? How do you mean?
I understand that the Terror set seems a little similar (it's supposed to, it sort of highlights the fact that China is pretty much the Anti-Empire) but I'm not seeing any other protocols that aren't diverse enough.
I have 3 questions.
1: Can buildings be Jaded, too?
2: Does the "Heavenly Bounty" sells all Jaded units on the map, or does it have a radius?
3: Can you tell us how many percent of the unit's value would be converted into funds?
Jade... is... TIBERIUM!!
:P
No, it's Patrick.
ah yes...
so very very outdated
