Portal: Unity is a mod for the Valve game "portal" with almost everything revamped. New story levels, New textures, redesigned portals, new protagonist, new antagonist and hopefully much more to come.
Enjoy Portal: Unity and many other great mods on Desura.

This is the first official full game release of Portal: Unity. Hope you guys enjoy it. :D

...there are no cubemaps
How the hell did you manage to release a mod without any reflections at all!? And some of these look like they have been compiled on 'Fast'... Guys, seriously, this needs cubemaps and to be compiled on 'Final'. It looks like lots of work has gone in but I just can't get over how you have ZERO cubemaps!
very good game althoguh a bit depressing ending thoguh
This game is really good and hard! but i have to grab the ending, I had to cheat in order to do a sequence. After that idk where to go. But after figuring out i saw the ending and well. A bit dissapointing.
But u deserve it. So... 9/10 "An great small mod and can use your time for your mind"
thanks man, glad you enjoyed it :)
I played this through, thought it was a nice mod but I do have some criticism. While I loved the new textures, the levels were often unbalanced and very hard to accomplish. While I know it isn't easy to get good voice acting, and, even if it wasn't so, the voiceing sounded like one person with the pitch modified for different roles. The ending was pretty expected, perhaps some bigger twists to go along with it would suit this mod well? But still, nice mod, it was fun to play through.
Thanks :) we really appreciate positive feedback along with constructive criticism, we realise our levels were quite difficult for some players, the learning curve in out mod is very sharp in comparison to the original game portal. Also the voice acting is something which we have come under much criticism about. We expected this as this mod was created as a school project and we didn't have the resources or time for decent voice acting as it was added into the game at the last minute.
Glad you enjoyed the mod though ;)
Just thought I should bring this up, the two voices you hear in the game are in fact two completely separate voice actors. We had a male and a female voice actor for the two roles in the game.
Congrats, you were also featured in PCGamer Issue 218, October 2011.
Wait, did you say 218 October? we got featured again? that's awesome! thanks for letting us know :)
nahh i liked the regular version better But great job
