Welcome to Portal: Google Translate Edition! This mod seeks to take the text, dialogue, and developer commentary of Portal, put it through varying amounts of languages in Google Translate, then put it back into English!

Trying to get this finished with everything else going on in my life proved to be a very strenuous process, but overall, I think the final product was worth it.

I saw a lot of people having an issue where they followed the README.txt guide to a T and it wasn't showing up on steam. I was having the same issue while helping my friend download it and when we were pretty sure there was no way to get it to work, as a hail Mary I recommended they put the portal gte folder into their sourcemods folder and somehow it worked. it appears in the steam library as a second portal game but with no logo, however it works all the same. I hope this helps!

Will you be making a version for Portal RTX? You don’t really need to redo voice acting, but you will have to redo a lot of the textures.
portal rtx is just a dlc. create a custom folder
therse a new phys prop with txt on it
Are you going to fix the map problem? I successfully installed it but i only have the challenge maps this sucks please fix this i've been waiting so long only to not be able to play it
I cannot fix this map problem because a vast majority of players (including myself) do not experience it when installing the mod. The only suggestion I have that *might* work would be to copy "maps" from your steamapps/common/Portal/portal directory, then paste it into Portal/portal/custom/Portal GTE.
