What is this? What does it feature?
Half-Life 2: Google Translate Edition is an official sequel to GoldSrc: Google Translated made by BinkusTheTrinkus. This mod follows our hero Cicero travelling in a poorly translated City 17, governed by the evil Caesar Brian.
The mod features top quality voice acting, extremely butchered text, voicelines, captions and edited textures, as intended to make this mod live up to its name.

What happened?
Simply put: I've stopped working on the mod for a while. Due to a mix of life issues, procrastination and laziness the project went on hiatus for a while, and I sincerely apologize for that. However, work hasn't fully stopped thanks to BinkusTheTrinkus, who has been doing important work behind the scenes to at least not let the mod die. Now it's hopefully going to get even better as I'm planning to finish this once and for all.
Any release date?
We decided that it's best not to say any date until we are basically done. I can tell you that at this point we aren't far from finishing, but there's still a lot to iron out (namely lip-syncing and textures). We also have switched around Voice Actors for some roles, so we're still getting our bearings on what is done and has yet to be done in terms of in-game dialogue. Personally, I hope we can get this done by the end of 2022, however this DOES NOT mean it will necessarily happen.

We know development's taken far longer than it should have - but rest assured, we've made great strides, and are actually quite close to completion. Please just bear with us a bit longer!

I've decided to discard the trello in favor of just doing announcements.
Is this mod shut down or something?
Nope, still going! I just haven't found time to do anything as of recently, so Binkus is leading the project once again.
