This is a Weapon/Effects/Sound enhancement for Brutal Doom using Voltlocks RGA as a base. It is a complete overhaul of the way you interact with Doom.
This has been revamped in every way I could, as far as added particles, dynamic lighting, fixed reloading animations, synced sounds, all sorts of good shit.

YOU CANNOT DRAG THIS ONTO GZDOOM BY ITSELF. Do not drag and drop this mod and then say it doesnt work or that it sucks. Dont be a dick and blame me, simply read the info included.
This mod has to be used in conjunction with Brutal Doom. (on the latest build of gzdoom.)
There is a batch included so you can more easily launch the game.
Though ZDL, makes running this a whole bunch easier, just be sure to run it AFTER brutal doom.
This has to be ran with gzdoom with the latest version of zdoom installed.
This is not a Call of Duty mod for Doom...so dont get all fuckin agro and start saying stupid shit.
This is me putting real guns in doom. A weapon pack that uses real weapons in conjunction with brutal dooms enhanced interactivity.
Weapon graphics have been ripped from call of duty along with weapon sounds, all other remnants of Call of Duty will be removed from this mod as it progresses. Included is a (very taxing) flashlight script, Brightmaps for nearly every character (I definitely didnt do that, a lovely team of zdoomers did), Overhaul of every monster and mechanical sound (pfenh) added effects, shrapnel, explosion replacement and overhaul, all looking to enhance but not infringe on your brutal doom experience.

WHATS FINISHED
-all guns that have shotgun shells and rifle rounds eject shells. everything but two guns eject shells when shot.
-preserved all the deaths from brutal doom so barons still grab your ass and rip you in half, chainguns still blow your arm off. its good.
-all the deaths and explosions are preserved...heads blow off...grenades demolish entire rooms...barons blow into a bunch of pieces.
-changed the sprites for pickups so that they dont obstruct view when playing...as much. definitely need to figure something new out but its presentable.
-changed grenade and rocket behavior. (added dynamic lights)
-weapons have tracers (has been buggy)
-weapons eject magazine according to animation...so if he throws the mag to the left it doesnt fly out of the front of your body. stuff like that. a lot of detail and fumbling wiht shit has been done with this. the shotgun ejects the shells behind you, stuff like that.
-a lot of thigns have been changed that not many are going to notice but i couldnt help but change because it has to be on par with brutal doom..and i know hes put a lot of work into that.
-removed regeneration and went with health packs. cant stand regen...and it just isnt doom,
-removed anything that isnt in the original game besides guns. its all about guns with this one.
-added dynamic lights to all guns, explosions, etc. its fuckin awesome. (be sure to run lights.pk3 immediately after gzdoom)
-brought back fast doomguy (fuck being bogged down by weapons, thanks for the input ussr!)
-got rid of the annoying muzzle flash and replaced it with buttery ass dynamic lighting. its better. trust me.
-fixed weird enemy smoke puff, and replaced it with COD style smoke. removing the weird square smoke from previous betas.
-imported all pain effects. (screens cracking, blood on screen ETC)
-removed all RGA features. not a fan. dont want em. sorry.
-AS OF OP_INHUMAN BETA 2.0 ADDED NEW SOUNDS, ALL MONSTERS, MORE RICOCHET SOUNDS, EXPLOSIONS, GUN SHOTS. SOUNDS ARE HUUUUGE. A BUNCH OF NEW EFFECTS, SMOKING SHELLS, AWESOME SHIT. i feel it adds a lot to immersion.
-RESPRITING NOW (PLAYABLE RESPRITED WEAPONS WITH NEW GUNS. NOT FINISHED.)
-Overhauled almost every explosion for effect on monsters and damage.
-added brightmaps (thanks pfenh) to all monsters and textures that would use them.
-changed all sounds. besides revenenants. they dont deserve any treatment...those fuckers.
-am working on optimizing code.

While playing keep in mind there is a pretty large comfortability curve that comes with adding 25 guns, and turning the effects up to 11. play through one wad with it, and i guarantee youll dig it.

if you are having a hard time running it (if its bogging down your computer) go ahead and give the zdoom version a try, it is missing features, but still rocks.

I downloaded it from a mirror and it worked. For some reason the archive conflicts with Winzip Pro on the main download. I opened the WinRAR archive from the mirror and was able to extract it.

So played the latest version, here's my feedback.
The mod is EVEN MORE SATISFYING than the previous update (It was still satisfying, but now it's just perfect!). Effects, recoil, all work flawlessly! Seriously, I saw multiple of demons coming in ma face, then I pulled out a Shotgun and blow them away. The explosions... Just like you said, with shrapnel and ****, it looks just perfect! I can not think if the mod can get any better than that.
Bug reports;
1. All weapons can be reloaded even when they are full. Kind of funny at times, but annoying because I lose ammo.
2. Some times the animations on a few weapons messes up. This completely happens at random, but when I grabbed the Dragunov and reloaded the animation messed up. This did not happen anymore after awhile.
Suggestions;
-When I aim down the sights of a weapon my running speed is decreased. Please remove that, it kills the badass feel and it is just not Doom.
-Remove the "screen spam" (WELCOME TO REAL GUNS HARDCORE!!! CHOOSE A CLASS FROM THE INVENTORY MENU!!! etc) I just want to have fun. Personally I think that instructions are childish and should be removed forever.
-Remove the weapon limit. If it has been removed already I apologize, but everytime I try to pick up a weapon the screen prints "WEAPON 1 OUT OF 8" or something.
Anyway, this is HIGHLY satisfying and badass and I aprove. 10/10.
yeah the reload i left open because i wanted it to ot feel too stiff, but yeah it does zap you one bullet...i might switch to a clip based ammo system soon, so be careful on that reload finger haha
DUDE! the ****** dragunov thing did the same thing to me! and i dont know how the hell to fix it, because it only happens like once in a blue moon, if you see it again let me know.

and the screen spam unfortunately cant be removed, i can get rid of the operation inhuman dialogue...unless you know of a way to unpack ACS stuff....if you do then ill definitely get rid of that because its ****** me off forever.

Ah, ****. I don't know how to unpack ACS yet because it's not possible at the moment. There was a tool that could decompile old ACS libraries, but not the new ones. I saw you on the same thread over ZDoom forums.

just saying, would be a good thing to add. if you toss a loaded magazine to the size you can come buy and pick it up by hand (simply hitting the use key) would make quick reloading in combat to re-up your weapon would be nice.
i'm against to remove the weapon limit, personally i prefer to carry only a few weapons it´s more hardcore

When I drop a weapon, i can´t pick any other weapons, even the same i just dropped...

Did I mention that the new version also runs hellishly smooth? I remember running older versions of the mod and get around 10-20 FPS. But now I'm running on steady 60 FPS.
hey bud, issue real quick, when loaded by itself it gives "Could not find script lump 'CASING'" and with latest v20 test (may of course) BEFORE it, it gives "3 errors while parsing DECORATE scripts" and when loaded AFTER it gives "1 errors while parsing DECORATE scripts"
DON'T use Brutal Doom V20 before it gets out of the bug state. Use V19 at the moment.
Just make sure you select Brutal Doom V19 first then select this mod and toss them on GZDoom.exe. You can use the batch that is provided with the mod for a quick access.

yeah man, im actually working on the bd20 version now, its gonna have a lot of kick *** effects (like bullets hitting dirt shoot dirt everywhere and ****).
i just need to get some other things in life going, its actualyl going super well and there isnt a lot of conflicts going right now, but i cant for the ******* life of me find the water explosion function anywhere...so when i do ill probably drop a beta for BD20.
The water effects are seperated into multiple files. It was a REAL pain in the *** for me to find them out. The files that contain the effects are TERRAIN.WAD, DECORATE.Water, and PUFF. There is also an ACS script that is running to make the effects to work so don't forget to check them out too.

On every explosion you have to also paste;
"TNT1 A 0 A_SpawnItem ("BigRicoChet", 0, -30)"
That should get the effect's *** to work.

ALSO, my blood pools are coming in transparent...but i havent changed anything in my modeldefs...what the **** is that?

Other than that, the mod runs smoothly even with v19, and I will give this a good rating, since I got back to my COD roots.

Nah. This is more like Call of Duty without what made Call of Duty suck. This mod may be amazing, but Call of Duty is just terrible to me; Screaming babies and pussies, realism, regenerating health, iron sights, all kinds of repetive **** that stayed in the industry for over 8 years.

okay only ONE issue I'm having so far:
I put a drop weapon key in the alternate control area (x), but sometimes I'll drop the weapon and not swap with the one on the ground. Eventually I just end up with nothing but fists and no way to grab some new guns. What am I doing wrong? This mod kicks supreme *** otherwise!

okay so you bound it in the operation inhuman key section but whenever you drop a gun it acts like that slot is still occupied?
lemme look into this real quick.
because ive been playing this ****** for like a year now and never had that issue as long as the key is bound in the right place,
also make sure that your "drop weapon" button is unbound in the doom controls section, that might be your problem.
Yeah I checked on that too. No dice. Sorry for being so much trouble about it. I just really enjoyed this badass mod. Although I do have an idea. How hard would it be to encode a "pick up weapon" command? That would probably add some appeal, as well as avoid a gun-naked marine when he drops all of his weapons. Just an idea.

nodelay is a zandronum error.
ok nevermind i found out whats going on haha, i didnt had the latest version of gzdoom, so i played this new version of opinhuman and i only have 1 complaint, the model 1887 shotgun is now slower i mean come on, was it so overpowered before that it had to be nerfed this bad ? i dont think so, thats my only complaint model 1887 way too slow
yeah, its still beta, and that needs to be fixed, but it still has to match the reload sound.
so use the ksg12 for now.
