Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

Note: The pistol in the original cornershot is the Desert Eagle, the pistol in our shot is the Glock.
Map shot is WIP, and the Toxic waste will be changed with a more suitable texture as soon as we get around to it.

Yeah that toxic waste is from the stock HL2 material. We'll be changing the toxic waste texture as soon as we get around to it :)
something tells me it would be just fine if you placed some low-brightness generic "light" entities (lime green) right over the spill spots and then used particles to make some lightly steaming toxic bubbles popping off the surface. you could also use sprites to make it look like it is slightly glowing.

Very good, I have to agree though, the toxic waste looks like more work should be put into it. Also, I like that this screenshot is from the first person point of view rather than a picture of the map from an angle, it gives more of an idea of progress.
Is the entire mod gonna be in Norwegian? Awesome though.
Lol would be awesome, but we haven't made any plans for that :) If we get the voice actors required and if we have the time we'll consider it xD

Another one of my favorite moments from the game, this looks fantastic! I would agree that the toxic waste needs quite some work, but that's the only complaint.

One request could you make the alarm in the room a little less annoying, if it wasent for that damn alarm I wouldnt find that room so annoying.
He he well the point of that alarm is after all for the player to realise some kind of lockdown is in effect :) We'll see what we end up with ;)
To me, it shouldn't be such a sudden switch between ground and liquid. It IS liquid after all, make there be a transition between the two.

this doesn't look like half-life opposing force at all it looks way to much like TF2, it's all cartoony and it doesn't look real... the hand just looks like a blob and his finger has no detail.

this looks good. but i agree slightly with guy who says the fingers look blobby. just add a small bit more sharpness to the fingers and add a small bit of white for more human like hands. :D
