Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

Indeed. Also the head isn't sticking out far enough and the eye looks like it was torn out of a human being and inflated, it needs to look like a cat or snakes eye.
it looks very real!!! but the eye looks like that quake 3 eyeball player model.
I agree; that's what I thought (I think its the fact that the eye is a humanoid eye- though getting a non-human eye right is easy to mess up). That aside it does look beautiful and disturbingly real!
My only other suggestion is to have some kind of 'neck' extending to the eye, maybe with some of those wicked chattering mouthparts of the original underneath, as the shocktrooper did have a head.

Maybe they are a bit thin and therefore are like Alien Slaves I would make em a little more wider.
I think it looks pretty similar to the original design. The only big difference I notice is the skin color.

I wish the skin texture was less chitinous and more glossy like that of a vortigaunt, I also feel that something is wrong with it's eye. It should look more amphibious because it's babies (spore launcher) are like tadpoles and this is the frog.

This mod has good modelers, but this model is weird, this is don't look like original opposing force shock trooper.
Please remake the models

The original model sent had a longer face Media.moddb.com, why did you make the head awkwadly short, that was one of the features i liked the shock trooper for, not just a generic 4 handed alien, but an alien with the other two hands on top of it's head. Please change the model from this, because it looks bad compared to the concept art.
Perhaps shortening it's legs and enlarging it's chest...
I know that this is an old picture, but i REALLY wish this wasn't the final model. I am also hoping that this Moddb.com is the second version of the model.
The shock trooper is my favorite creature in the half life series and i REALLY wish it's design wasn't ruined. For a mod that seems to try to keep the designs close to the original, this looks quite like a letdown.
I just like these people's logic: "ABESALATELY NAT IN APPASENG FARCE REMAKE IT NAW!!!!' and then asking, 'WHUN WELL BI TEH RELASE DATE!!?!?!??!((('
