Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

In regard to the red laser, could you please take an Ivan's Secrets approach? Skip to 1:00 in the video:

Although unrealistic, the visual laser-beam helps the player realize that it's on. THIS IS NOT NECESSARY, but it'd also be cool if it followed your aim when you reloaded like in L4D and Ivan's Secrets :D

Well y not make the laser infer red? thats what real Spec Ops including US Spec Ops use & on top of that the beam is visible with night vision :)

You can only see the beam with night vision on & it looks like this :)

Infer red LAM mounted on M4A2 SOPMOD

Imaging1.com

custom IR LAM mounter on a US made (original version) Desert Eagle
Geekjoan.com

Hope that helps :)

PS IR laser sight may guide IR rockets & missiles in real life to ;) Tho it only works if the said missile/rocket uses an IR guidance system.

The laser could be toggeable and have a small auto aim on big enemies, but with a slower fire rate.

Looking closely at the image, I notice that it's chambered for .50 Action Express. Wasn't the original Deagle from OP4 in .357 Magnum, not .50? Or are you going to change its caliber?

Will it be possible to steer rockets with the laser aim like in the original game? ;D
