Operation: Black Mesa is a total Source remake of Half Life: Opposing Force. Using the Source engine, the developers plan to recreate the Black Mesa research Facility as it was seen by Corporal Adrian Shephard of the H.E.C.U. Half-life: Opposing Force is still an amazing game, although it is not nearly as amazing as it was when it was released.

Speaking of details this doesn't look like an anatomically correct cockroach, it should NOT have four eyes. Compare it to photos of real world cockroaches.
Speaking of details, headcrabs, zombies, vortigaunts, houndeyes, bullsquids, barnacles, voltigores, shockroaches, shocktroopers, gargantuas, geneworms, pitdrones, hivehands, sporelanchers and snarks needs to be tweaked a bit, so they copies reality perfectly. Because they are real.
It may not be real, but who cares ? It's just a game and the second point is, who will actually notice this in the game ? :P

Cockroaches exist in real life, I thought that's what it was supposed to be. I know the old roach looks like that because of the polygon limit.

I actually thought, the cockroaches in HL were of "Earth clan" =)
They never truly bothered anyone in the game, and somehow added amusement for seemingly grim environment of the Black Mesa.
I hope it still makes that satisfying crunch sound underneath my foot.
These guys is what makes the atmosphere and the game complete.
