I like present our modyfication to the game Earth2160 created by polish studio Reality Pump. The NEP(New Earth Project- working title of the mod), is focused in bringing old units , atmosfere and that specific feel of older games created in Earth universe(like Earth 2140 , 2150 , the moon project , etc). But not only that. It is also some kind of experiment with is focused in showing what can be done in RTS games. Mod features: - New/old units from others game series, like Tiger for UCS , LBT(Pamir) for ED or cruscher for LC - Improved Fx - New maps created especially for this MOD(Also graphically improved) - Completely new gameplay. - New much clearer research system (Now you know waht you are researching.) - Diffrent build system for specific races. - Completely new reworked aliens, with much better morphing system(Morphoid player now “tech” like other nations...) - Old/New wepons technologies , with behave like as the ones from older games from this series . - Completely reworked a

What will be new in the patch/new version:

MODELS\TEXTURES:
 -new ED models+textures for all grav-lots,
 -new textures for ED ground units (tanks , artillery , etc),
 -new textures for fobos(LC) and shadow(ED),
 -redone all ED and LC building weapons.
FX
 -lots of new explosion , weapon projectiles , etc.
SOUNDS:  -New walk/move sounds for all units (well known from 2140 , 2150),
 -New sound for all weapons shoots (mostly like in 2150+few extra).
MENU:
 -New menu done by Raptorad
SCRIPTS:
 -New AI (much , much, harder than before). 
 -AI now use many tactics, so be prepared for anything commander.
 -New transporter ability to produce infantry squads inside  
 -AI now can use them too which deadly performance.
 -And many more.
PARAMETERS/BALANCING:
 -lots of changes here, the full change log will be posted later.

CAMPAIGN:
LC only(the ED/UCS will be added as separate missions packs) , but redone in many parts 

But the most important change is:FULL STABILITY!!!!

All my sources to old 2160 maps over internet looks like death end.

It's theoretically possible(by scripting), but the system will be really buggy, and can have major impact on the game stability(the thing we want to avoid for any cost).
What's regard the resource system...It's creation take us so much time , that we aren't sure that we want to bother with the new one.

there can be desynchronization which become result of 2 parallel games in multiplayer, where one player can't see other player actions, unit movement, cunstruction, attacks etc. while he do it.
Also bug in multiplayer when haresters of all factions can't harvest resources (destroy buildings mode, teams same as factions)

Also friend of mine said the interface is too small on big screens/resolutions, can be there some improvements?

Can you describe a little bit more precise , when this de-synchronization bug take place?
The harvester bug is new to me, so I need more information about it first.
We've try to mod interface so many times , that I basically lost count of it. But without any result unfortunately, due to buggy *** hell tool. In simple word it isn't gone happen any time soon. Sorry.

De-synchronization happend just in middle of game, possibly when large amount of units start to move or so... we used Tunngle since there is no server.
Harvester bug happens in every multiplayer (non ai) game on any map. Player's can't harvest resources from start, the harv. just doesn't respond when you send it on resource.
