I like present our modyfication to the game Earth2160 created by polish studio Reality Pump.
The NEP(New Earth Project- working title of the mod), is focused in bringing old units , atmosfere and that specific feel of older games created in Earth universe(like Earth 2140 , 2150 , the moon project , etc). But not only that. It is also some kind of experiment with is focused in showing what can be done in RTS games.
- New/old units from others game series, like Tiger for UCS , LBT(Pamir) for ED or cruscher for LC
- Improved Fx
- New maps created especially for this MOD(Also graphically improved)
- Completely new gameplay.
- New much clearer research system (Now you know waht you are researching.)
- Diffrent build system for specific races.
- Completely new reworked aliens, with much better morphing system(Morphoid player now “tech” like other nations...)
- Old/New wepons technologies , with behave like as the ones from older games from this series .
- Completely reworked armor/shield system for units. Armor protect against conventional wepons like: rockets , ppanc cannos , mchine guns ,etc. and the shield protect from energetic wepons like plasma, laser, electric cannos, etc.
- Added flares(with is anti for guided rockets) , and SDI system(witch is now anti ballistic wepon) for all old races(aliens have diffrent technology than humans)

Engine support for AI is not enough good for NEP. I wrote new script to compile with gametypes and campaign scripts. Old AI hasn't built units all time so it has not enough big army. New AI builds units all time when has money, so it can build bigger army. New AI makes statistics about enemy army, and builds respective platoons. AI makes scouts and attacks only visable units and withdraw the army when loses. It attacks with big armies of bombers, tanks and artillery, not single platoons. AI is completed at about 80%.
Campaign will be adapted to the new ai.
