Yeah a sad fact of life with x-ray I just wondered if you had a work-around set up like Shoker uses too allow it, I asked because the work-around would actually work better with SHOC than it does in CS and COP due to no upgrades. Anyway cheers for the reply.
I would rather have a PSO-1 on a 9A-91 than a Kobra....make it an option some how? Alternative download or such?
Would it not be possible to just add in two versions of the weapon with one taking the Kobra and the other taking a scope? I know it's not ideal, but I guess it'd work.

Nope, it's a varient of the VSK-94, which is a rifle similar to the VSS.
The VSK was based upon the 9a-91 though, while the VSS and AS were different designs on their own. The VSK was more of a "cheap" version of the VSS.
The SR3m is the newest version of them all. I actually hope mill considers creating / texturing an already existing SR3m model because it's just so badass :) Maybe not for stalker, but one can hope ..

Speaking of the VSK, although maybe not such a good idea for this mod, it would be a great addition to Misery, if you don't have the money for a VSS. Just a suggestion.
Actually the VSK is already included, download wpn appendix from the MISERY mod page. Then you'll get an overview over the included guns.
We've done quite the overhaul to the gunplay already. Like Loner85 said, download the weapon appendix and feast your eyes! :)
Amazing work, but the model seems scaled a bit too large. . Right now, it seems as large as a full on 7.62x39 AK, but it's much smaller in reality:

I think it's the perspective. Look at his hand and the hands of the soldiers in the pic. I know mil, he either takes models which are 1:1 scale or creates them on his own on 1:1 scale :)
Yeah STALKER's first person FOV is dreadful.
It might be a bit big atm as well because it's using AK animations, our animators have been too busy to make anything lately so I'm stuck using old animations at the moment.
Oh! I feel really bad now. It wasn't that big a problem, just a little bugging, but that's good to hear. If it's on the AK anims in the final release, I'll get over it, and I completely understand the animators being booked solid.

Maybe I'm asking much, but I would love to see grenade launcher attachment for it. The real life 9a-91 do have an underbarrel grenade launcher designed specifically for it called the GP-95. It uses the same 40mm caseless grenades that the GP-25 and GP-30 use.
GP-95 was designed for A-91 family of assault rifles, not for 9A-91. So GP-95 can be installed only on A-91M and 5.56-A-91M.
The only weapon for 9x39mm cartridge and possibility to install a grenade launcher is OTs-14-4 "Groza-4".
9A-91 is a special compact carbine and it is too much lightweight for grenade shooting - shooter will be kicked in the shoulder like it was a mule.

On the first pic you can see that they added a rubber buttpad to absorb the kick of the 40mm grenade.
That in practice it's not very safe, that's another thing, but that they designed a 40mm grenade launcher for the 9a91, they did.

Anyway, no special force in Russia use them. And KBP (constructor) didn't announce it cause it's a prototype. And it does not get along with concept of CQC compact carbine in Russia. Usually there always a guy with AK + GP-30, 6G30, RGS-50M or GM-94 who will cover guys with 9A-91.
It could have some use for launching less-than-lethal and non-lethal grenades: smoke, tear gas, flashbang, but I agree that a guy with a standalone grenade launcher like the ones you mentioned can do a better job.
For gaming purposes, a GP-95 mounted under a 9a91 could have some use for killing mutants, or at least to soften them up until they come close so you can finish them down with bullets.
It's a question to the designers of the mod: do they want to keep the game realistic as possible or include some non-existing but cool stuff.
And there are some special 40-mm grenades for GP series of grenage launchers and 6G30 launcher, if you're interested:

There are not any rubber bullets or shrapnel rounds for those launchers cause there are not casing of grenade (that's why GP launchers have 2 times faster reloading than M203 - just insert and shoot, no need to inject the casing). For these purposes usually used KS-23 23mm (4 gauge, well can't be called "gauge" for real cause it's already small artillery size) shotgun that shoots slugs, shots and grenades.

WOW I can't wait to use them then ... I'm currently trying to finish my play-thru of Priboi's Story.
I tried the current version of LURK & I really liked the weapons but got bored with the story because I played it a few times already and didn't like the non use of artifacts as armor upgrades. I will wait for "your" release of it to check out your amazing work with the arsenal.
