The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.

YES. My FAV assault weapon and handgun were re-created in hq. I love you millenia, and it's prolly the second best VAL model I've ever seen in a game :) Why 2nd? The 1st model had weld-marks ;) But that eats up performance so that doesn't really matter. Damn...

Isn't that really, really difficult? I've heard one being shot... it really is king of the suppressors. You only hear the air from the pressure and the casings being ejected
What part do you mean to be really difficult?
I won't likely be able to get any time with an actual Val, if that is what you mean (being that I am in the US and these Russian weapons aren't allowed to be imported here).
Other than that, though, nothing strikes me as particularly difficult. I'll just have to do what all other sound designers do.

Made from scratch? Big surprise there, Millenia and co are just that good. I would wonder if they've supplied models for AAA games, but then I realized that AAA game's weapons aren't high enough quality to be from them. :3
