Wow the SR3 looks pretty much like the AS-Val except the barrel is shorter(lol even tho the suppressor adds a lot of length.)
The SR3 is based of the qualities of both the AS VAL and VSS vintorez, combining the fast rate of fire of the AS VAL (900RPM) and mag size (29+1) with the accuracy of the VSS. Because of this, it's highly regarded in the russian community. They'd rather see a new SR-3 model than an AS or VSS model :)

This is 30 round magazine. Pity, but 40 round mag doesn't exist :( 9x39mm cartridge is fat and heavy - hard to create a mag with comfortable and strong spring in it, but that's the price for penetration and stopping power.
