Over the past several months not allot got showed development wise. However this doesnt mean we havent done anything development wise, if you keep track of our Trello page where we update our roadmap with bug fixes and art fixes, currently we have 9 tasks to finish till our playtesters find more that needs to be fixing.
Talking about Playtesters we finally open the application to anyone that wants to help us with finding game breaking balance issue's, but what are Playtesters or QA testers exactly ?
Quality Assurance Technicians, or QA Testers, perform a vital role on the team. They test, tune, debug and suggest the detailed refinements that ensure the quality and playability of the finished game. They play-test the game in a systematic way, analyzing the game’s performance against the designer’s intentions, identifying problems and suggesting improvements.
So you want to be a play tester for Evolutions: Real Time Strategy Evolved right ? Well your time is now! From today we are searching for playtesters that know what they are doing and reach out to us for tips and balance isues and get closer to the community. So we have compiled a few questions for you to answer that you can find Here.
Play testing with CnC Online and Evolve:
Because the original servers of Gamespy are offline the Command and Conquer community created their own named CnC Online.
C&C:Online is a community-made and -managed online server for Generals, Zero Hour, Tiberium Wars, Kane's Wrath, and Red Alert 3, allowing you to log in and continue playing online just like you could when GameSpy's servers were still online.
Playing on CnC Online server is absolutely free.

Share Your Testing Interests:
The first step to become a play tester is to share your interests with us, for example why would you like to be a play tester and what can you offer us instead of "OMG IM A HUGE FAN OF THE MOD LET ME GET EARLY ACCESS". Because that will not get you trough our application form, think good about what you are going to say and how you would write down because there are more people lurking their to get your spot in our play testers group.
Educate Yourself:
If you are huge Halo fan or a huge Command and conquer fan or just one of the two and you dont know much or maybe nothing about both of the universes and game's it doesn't hurt to educate yourself with some of the basic lore and games the mod is build on and based of. The following wiki pages has tons of huge info about both Command and conquer and the Halo universe.
Write a thoughtful answer:
In some cases, we ask personal questions or questions about one of the universe's so make sure you think about what you are going to write down because this is your one shot to impress us, so it's important to write a well crafted answer when it is needed because like we said before their are more people lurking to help us out and give feedback about the mod before we hand it out to the public.
