Five Elite Mercenaries are send to an Island in middle of the 1980'. The Task: Find and Eliminate a local Drug Baron. Features: new Physic, real Sunmovement, Day/Night Change, Hunger/Food system, realistic (!) Weather system, Light/Dark viewing system for AI, 5 different Fractions on the Island. Complete Realistic simulation of nearly all things, including Sleep. New weapons, new Vehicles. Vehicles driving system is now exact (!) like GTA IV , FireSystem,... this mod is Heavily inspired by GTA, IGI, FarCry.

unfortunately my sys seems to slow to record video with 4xAA 8xAF and all ultra high -.- so the feeling that the video is not smooth is correct -.-
and now with grass its horrible, as soon the videocapture starts fps falls from ~50 to 25,, maybe i misconfigurated some thing in vsync in my AMD drivers.

by accident i explored a (for me new) behaviour of ce1: its possible to remove vegetation with a explosion effect, to make it better visible i removed every explosion particle effect and fire, so you see really what happens. if i have time and fun i will look if i can connect this with my fire routine: finally it would allow to let burn down vegetation, better than in FC2, where burned vegetation is also not touched ^^

i changed the exhaust in some ways, but heatexhaust is only used for engine block. for real exhaust the heathaze looked way to lovely for this monster, so black smoke with the new exhaustslot on top is what i currently prefere, what did u think?

Only thing which I would change is that when you driving it shouldn’t let you to have weapons in hands.
thank you :) yeah, got finally some life in this machine :D if you look very close you can see on front not only the heat exhaust from engine, also you can see black small smoke coming from tires, happens if you give to fast too much power and the tires "block", it was made for the race port of devkid but i unlocked it also for normal FPS games, because its just "nice".
about the weapons: there is always a big discussion about, usually i dislike wpns in vehicles, but every vehicle have a switch where i can allow it or not, mostly its only allowed in "open" vehicles, like this truck which does not have windows.
but even without wpns you won't have hands in first person view, i never figured out how to do it properly -.-
Well that isn’t a big problem at least I can choose if I want to have weapons out or not, and I personally prefer to have not out weapons if I driving a vehicle.
before entering the vehicle you can press a wpnslot which does not have a wpn to get hands or select a non existent wpnslot, that also will give hands. but driving a forclift with dual uzi is so epic for example, ... its a MUST try :D
at other hands 90% of vehicles in opcl have forbidden wpnsswitch on.
I would personally prefer (if it’s even possible and I have no idea) to have hand on steering wheel but I will try to drive with those Uzis anyway.
unfortunately not possible, without wpn its then standart farcry1 behaviour in first perspective view: nothing... i never got any ideas i have had to work properly ;(
I afraid that exactly but I think that maybe it’s possible because Far Cry 2 have that and Dunia engine is heavily modified Cryengine so I hope that maybe its somehow possible to do that.
dunia have a complete own lua front end and interpreter, they got "only" the renderer and editor sdk and not the game front end we have. but its ofcourse possible in farcry to do it, i also know how it theoretically works but i does not have the knowledge how to implement it -.-
Well that's a shame but maybe gokusuper5 know that. Unfortunately he is offline for a month now (but before he was about three years).
