This mod adds some great new gameplay to the game. Virtually everything have been tweaked and modified and around 80 new units and 20+ new structures have been added. In combination with new generals, super weapons and powers. New music and sounds for some units. This mod will take the fight to the sea in huge naval battles between submarines, destroyers, battleships and gunboats. It will take fighting in the sky to new levels with a broad variety of aircrafts and helicopters. The GLA can now participate in these fights. But the real battle will take place on the ground, engaging mammoth overlords, light vipers and specialized infantry units. **VERSION 1.4 now available** Ok, so I found the piece of data that I worked on for about a year ago, on a forgotten USB-stick. So I give you the latest version of DF. No super-large changes. THe mod is only One file now, so it's much easier to switch between other mods (why do that ? :P).
Changes since Version 1.2
* Changed so that the "black area" (as a result of zoomed out cameraview) is removed by
default. If you want to changed it back (for better performance) you can change the
"GameData.ini" line "drawEntireTerrain" to "No".
This will however render your version incompatible for internet and LAN play.
* Network improvements
* Added the feature of burning trees
* For all factions, all generals:
- Added a nuclear bunker (One needs protection from nuclear weapons ;))
- Added a special constructor capable of building basic faction specific base defenses,
oil derricks, walls and the nuclear bunker. It will also be able to clear mines and repair
faster than ordinary dozers.This unit can be built from all supply centers, and only from there!
- Added ambulance units for China and USA to be built at any supply center, sorry GLA you're low-tech.
* Infantry armor is now about 20% stronger
* Maximum three infantry commanders at the same time, also increased cost and decreased heal-rate.
* US infantry commanders special ability "air strike" reload time was doubled!
* AI has been improved, but remember that it works best in games with limited resources
and on official maps with generic scripts.
* Changed the t-72 model to a better one
* The Airship got a HUGE health increase, also increased max numbers allowed to build to 2 from 1.
*Detractor cannon damage increased slightly, also lowered cost to 6k
* Changes made to the "portable nuke missile launcher vehicle":
- Requires propaganda center to build (in addition to science)
- There was a bug that made the nuclear missile not explode if launched from long distances, it has been fixed.
* Harmageddon nuke:
- Nuke health decreased sligthly, repairrate reduced, power comsumed increased to 31, building time increased some
- If destroyed, it will explode with FULL force
* Fixed the artillery command center unable to upgrade with mines
* Dragonfly missile seems to not function when attacking command centers
* SU-34 now has napalm-rockets installed
* AI will now use their superweapon
* THe king raptor build cost was increased to 2000, also increased time between missiles and lowerd the count to 5 from 6.
CHINA naval and tech:
* Decreased weapon damage from the su-34 bombs
* The commander now gets the third special ability when the upgrade is bought
* THe nuke carrier now also requires a propaganda center to be built
* Passengers in the moving fortress will now be damaged if the tank is destroyed
* New power - Tank assault
GLA T. Leader:
* Sound when selecting airfield was changed to something more appropriate
* Cause fighter improved
FROM HOTFIX 1.21:
* Increased the minetank cost, lowered health, max one at a time. Increased weapon reload time.
* Decreased range and damage made by supercannon bunker, aslo increased reload times.
* Harmageddon Nuclear missile health lowered (the building).
USA Assault general:
* Fixed the blackbird science that was accidentally removed
