Whats really sad is that this doesn't even look good anymore, I mean back in 2009 yeah, but standards have gone up. And allot of those shots are starting to really look dated.

Sorry to say, but this mod had good graphics 2 years ago. Now it just looks like white noise to me. Hopefully their well be some nice effects in the game though...

Im waiting, along with 6,279 other people. I understand the delay, but to not give us any inside to what the hell their doing is getting old fast.
We dont even really know if its being worked on, or shut down, dead, or their just holding it. Any kind of news to give your loyal fans at all?
I mean come on after pretty much giving us all false hope last year then crushing us is one thing, then just not do or say anything after words is another thing. But life goes on, but a life without blackmesa on our hard drives is a nightmare.

Yeah this seems to be a good idea, Iv been toying around in the galaxy editor its pretty cool.
As for people who's PC's are to slow to run SC2, I was able to get the beta working on a AMD Thunderbird 1.1ghz 512 ram, ATi x1600 pro agp.
the game is optimized very well.

I got some constructive criticism..
1. Theres no shadows anywhere (at least what I can see) They dont have to be dynamic. Around the stone wall and the gate, there should be shadows also the light pole. I know at first it seems shadows are not a big deal, but really..they really give a more realism feel to it:P
2.The sky looks empty, you can also see where the sky meets the land.
The design of the map is great. Along with the HDR it gives a atmospheric effect.

Im currently trying to become a beta tester, no not just to play the mod before it comes out. I have no care for that at all. What I care for is the mod,to help improve a mod. And I don't go though a beta once, or twice, ill go though it 25 though 30 times looking for anything that would make the player unhappy. And also, unlike other beta tester's, I well test it ON vista and xp to make sure theres no errors etc. To make the game more playable for everyone.If and beta would need to be tested on Linux, I could also do that.
