There is little story right now, but enough for a title in this genre (ARPG). Game progresses ridiculously fast these days (patches, custom events, announcements). The devs seem to be under the effect of Unwavering stance :F and everyone is hyped about the upcoming act 3.
Das bekommen wir schon noch hin mit der Engineering Group, vllt mal an den Support schreiben?
Jedenfalls interessantes W3 Projekt, hab ich mir schon auf dem Hive angesehen.
Man spricht sich!^^
Something comes to my mind and that is Baldurs Gate. In that game one can define their characters disposition, for example a paladin being "righteous good" (righteous means: obeying the law and defend it, if governed by justice - killing people for fun is a no go for such characters. Good means: well i guess that's self explanatory and not too far away from righteous).
And acting against his disposition will attract chaotic or evil characters and may as well transform his own (like the growing child which has heard so many glorious tales about the battlefields, about serving as a soldier and when becoming one, the face of war changes his pure purpose and might corrupt him due to the sheer brutality and tragedy, finally altering his good behaviour and noble character aspects).
Maybe an easier version, like karma points would work better. Like they did it in Fallout 1-3...
I understand your aforementioned points of avoiding the multiplayer development, still i think that exactly coop survival has if not the biggest potential. And for singleplayer, i'd enjoy some riddles-puzzles implemented like there were in the first Resident Evil. Cheers
Looks like improvements are coming quickly and in a complementing way. Is there a chance that you make an official demo-version (multiplayer mode) to grant us an personal insight? I want to be sure about the games longevity, concerning that matter. Cheers
This mod might become a huge satisfaction (if you are a fan of the books and movies especially), which i am indeed. I'm thinking about playing the beta right now, might post first impressions later. Looks good so far anyway, so i just want to say: Keep going! ;D
I've played through by now and it was really enjoyable overall. I will play Nehrim again when updates keep coming =). 62hours for me, which is really a lot (i didn't rush it, but sometimes i just went for the straight way). Great mod indeed.
Hell Yeah, this mod brought Oblivion back to life for me. I have tried the original game and several minor mods during the recent years, but so far (i played for 10 hours~) nothing can compete against Nehrim. An immersive world, original and funny Quests with unique approaches concerning gameplay mechanics, which Oblivion had rarely and the list goes on...
Fantastic work, you have Oblivion? Try this mod!
Verdammt gute Arbeit, verdient jegliche, mögliche Lobpreisung =)! Werde wohl auch Morrowind für die älteren Overhauls rauskramen, denn das hier ist wirklich erstaunlich und zudem auch noch umsonst...
I eagerly await this game! First one was great, played it a lot, but its graphics are seriously outdated. Well keep going, everything fits together nicely so far!
Played it for several hours now in the recent weeks. Nothing takes itself too serious here, something i really like, because most games focus so hard on realism that it's almost only a cover of what has been there already... won't name any games here tho.
So back to topic. It's a great mod so far, still i have one concern and question:
When playing as pirates on bt_island there seems to be only one way that leads to the vikings (on the other hand two ways lead to the pirate bay, heading from the vikings start). Did i simply miss something, because some games it was quite impossible to catch their gold as a pirate...
Cheerio
Hahaha WOW! Yeah ;P;P, i don't recommend it... But Warcraft III, without a doubt is still quite unique and gets better with age, like good wine. It's 8 years old and still pretty alive! I know we can fill a decade full of W3, like Starcraft did.
"full of hope"

Just reinstalled Oblivion, not primarily because of this great looking piece here, but yeah i will try it out without doubt.
Makes me wanna play the vanilla Outcast again (i have the original one here)!
Tracking this.
