The same may pertain for frigates like our beloved SR1 (Maybe 2 too, not sure, since SR2 was way bigger.). In ME1 we saw how the SR1 dodges shots from bigger ships.
Just questionable if this can be implemented in this mod or if Lord_Set even gives a f*** 'bout it. *g*

You said the secondary guns on top of the turret would fire lasers (or something similar). Will they be like the Cybran Point-Defense (Rapidfire laser) or more like a smaller version of the Monkey Lord laser beam?

But we can't rebuild them, so it's a high risk tactic? Or is there some research that brings an 'Save my ***' equipment to the ACU, like the vanilla eject pod?

Sorry for my curiosity. It's just that I really like the idea of an customizable 'hero' unit.

I am sure you did already answer this question but I can't find the answer:
Will the ACUs be stronger than in the vanilla game? As it is now the ACU is a strong unit but can die very very fast, when you send it in battle, so most player don't even consider to fight with their ACU.
Any changes in this direction?
