The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

The devs on the Sins website said that the Iron Engine is flxible enough to mod, I dunno HOW flexible it is for the scripting of the movements of the ship pieces and such, but I bet you it IS possible.

Actually it isnt, sins does not support animations, there is a work around using particle effects but its hard as you have to make it in every single state, also it is only reallly possible for simple animations like rotating sections ect.

fixed as in not moving or fixed as in moving. if it is possible it atleast needs to be done after the rest of the mod is finished. finish the mod then add nice extras. time consuming sucks and i dont understand the resource consuming but after the mod is done if the polish can be added to make it more realistic then it should be done.

I believe skyline5gtr meant fixed as in static.

Resource consuming means that it will demand more graphical/processing power from your computer for the game to run smoothly. As I understand it the task in itself is also very, very time-consuming, as it is not "natural" to have animated models in Sins.
While it is true to the universe, it really isn't *necessary*.

exactly, if we animated it besides taking forever to get the rig right which im not even sure how to do it would be a huge drain on the cpu/gpu of the computer and cause a large amount of lag

Finally a textured reaper, Im so happy! :D Looks GREAT! Any ideas which angle its going to be in or are you going to let the fans decide that later? Its pretty hard to decide which angle looks the best unless you see it ingame moving and attacking etc.
Keep up the good work and keep us updated with more screenshots! <3

I really wish they good be as dark as in the game, but they'd probably disappear into the background of space in sins. Looks great right now though, I can't wait to see how good it'll be when complete.
