Oh dear, it has been a long time since I last posted in this site.

Yuri, I've downloaded and installed the standalone version.

Without patching it, I can run the configurator and then the game without any problems. The game is awesome. Congratulations on the achievement.

However, when I try to update it with the latest patch 2_10_revised, I do everything as said in the description yet it crashes on start with a

[09/29/16 15:53:14] [error]Description : ERROR! LuaXML library loading failed! Check and repair VC++ 2005 runtimes!

Message in the log. Even though I have already "repaired" (twice) the VC++ 2005 runtimes and the game can run without the patch, it doesn't seem to work post patch.

What gives? I read that the patch was badly uploaded or something like that. Can that be the reason?

Yeah, sorry, I didnt explain what I was aiming for.

I mean, how do I know which current magazine I have in my weapon without looking at INV? I know I could look at the number of magazines in my inv and figure it out but in the middle of a battle I lose track of how many mag types so I just press R

BTW, awesome AI. Now its fun to fight against it

Sorry, but how do I know how much ammo does the current magazine has? It's REALLY bothersome to grab a gun, unload it, reload it and find out that were was only 1 bullet inside and then be blasted away by a bandit...

I recall the LURK Mod for SHOC making the AI behave much like the one seen in Thief. If the player hid in darkness, he couldn't be seen.

So I couldnt help but notice that the AI didn't react to player flaslight...is this being worked on, or it's just something that can be fixed?

Well, after having finished this game twice. Unlocking almost everything and playing all the custom campaigns, I wonder: Will there be more from the Psykskallar team for Half Life?

PS: Another compliment: This game is AAA quality. No ****. Better than some commercial games out there.

I have to congratulate the team behind this masterpiece, as it is one of the best horror games (It's not just a mod anymore) I've played in my life.
You managed to capture the essence of the first Resident Evil's (Monsters, Inventory Management, Atmosphere. Even the doors :P) and mix it with a modern FPS.

Che, viendo el juego (De mod ya no tiene nada :P) que estan haciendo, me hace recordar a esos juegos viejos FPS hechos con el Unreal engine que salian alla por 2001-2005. Creo que esa fue la mejor epoca de los FPS. Hoy en dia son reciclados baratos.
Ojala hagan los niveles bien grandes y con cosas para "descubrir" a lo Deus Ex.

Che SysOp, cuando terminen el mod, van a hacer alguna especie de Dev Diary o "Repaso" del desarrollo? Siempre me llamo la atencion como cambiaban las cosas dentro del mod o se descartaban y agregaban nuevas ideas.

Hey Ketxxx, could you please tell me in a pinch how you've balanced gameplay? I've found in the vanilla game or mods odd values for armors. Sometimes an Exo would have more radiation and less bulletproof than a Guard Of Freedom

SimplyYuri, I've tried installing Net Framework 2.0 and 3.5, but error messages come saying that I already have them.
Any idea why would the Configurator crash already having the NF 2.0/3.5?

I dont think you guys will make this due to time restraints, but seeing how you've changed and modified the game, maybe you can make it for a patch or a 3.0 version:
-Add magazines, so instead of putting 30 bullets directly into the gun, you have to put them first to the magazine and then to the gun. I think it would add a whole new layer of atmosphere, and would make pistols or a backup weapon something REALLY useful.

Hey, don't know if it's a typo, maybe you have fixed it for 0693, but the Wind Of Freedom suit (The "Normal" one) has a better bulletproof stat than the Duty Exoskeleton (62% vs 50% if I remember)
