Well there was a mod a team was making for UT04. A Warhammer mod, and same as before when it got results they were asked to stop creation or legal action would be taken. Same with "The Matrix" mods for the Max Payne games. Any portraying of Neo, or any other character from the movies, or looks or similar effects of any kind, WB would douche bags about it. Its just lame, I mean, your not making money off of it, so whats the problem? Not my fault the mod community can make a better matrix game for free than a budgeted team like Shining Entertainment.

Well though I have not heard about this until now, this just makes modding a bit more interesting. Just to see what the community comes up with will be such an interesting experience.

To be honest from a gamer, and moder point of view, I believe Crysis will set yet again a standard for videogames, not only graphic wise, but the fun you would be able to have WITH the graphics, not to mention the possibility of gameplay with the ability to have such a powerful engine at the edge of your fingertips... Yet again another gaming standard, crytek did it with FarCry, now with Crysis... UT will always be mod friendly, but with time, and patience, some sweet stuff can be released on the Crysis engine. In my personal opinion from my experience with modding.

Yes they did have drums but in the Euro theater they didnt have drums nor 30 round clips. That was in the pacific theater. It was only pissible do to the moist condistions. Less chance of problems in combat, and what have you.

Sometimes, and often its an idea based off of a current game. Only thing in relation is the general look, other than that everything else about it is different. Thats what I see most mods being. I see them in relation with many games that are out. But because it is only looking like it, and everything else is original, I dont see the point, of getting all butt hurt about it. So long as the original owners are notified, and ok it, I really dont see an issue.

I would assume the rest of the detail will come fromt he textures...

haha Dude people still prefer UT2k4 over source. lol UT2k7 should be the same. I mean its was UT is loved for. Its modding capabilities. Even though that is definately an insane ammount of detail. I couldnt believe it when I first saw it. lol

I believe that 2142 IS the bf2 engine if I am corrent. Someone said it wasnt... When actually... it is. and 2142 isnt rubbish I actually am in beta, and it looks, and plays way better than bf2 imo. This mod should be freakin kick ***. I am looking at most of the work on it, and its lookin pretty hot.

hot stuff man... :) I am a composer... Well alright! I was reading your story, and just put a song out on it I will work from... The story is very detailed, and allows me to capture the moment. But I will put more work into each one as each scene progresses... :)

I got a better idea though, how about we all just wait for the games to come out! Only one you dont have to wait for is C&C3 cuz it has a demo out, but all the other ones, how about we wait till they are released before we judge them eh? I say this in means to the subject of the poll, and everyone who comments on the games. We dont know how good the games are to be honest. We only judge from what we SEE, not what we PLAY, and I think this subject should never be discussed anywhere, as it only leads to arguments, about what games will be better. For instance I have seen quite a bit of insults towards people who think crysis will be better. Who gives a crap? If you cant afford a machine to run crysis, thats your fault, getting a job can solve that problem easily. But this is a dumb subject to bring up, and I dont care what people say because I know I am right about this.

Why do most people think Crysis will be a tub of crap? It gets most votes, but all I see are Bioshock fanboys, and Stalker fanboys. Sure those will be great games, hell I dont doubt they do better than Crysis, but to totally insult crysis, is like saying Jessica Alba isnt hott...
