Really enjoying the campain mixed with the complex tech trees. Well done on implementing that. Will be hard to go back to vanilla.
haven't played skirmish in your 2.8 release yet but have found the progenitor greatly overpowered in previous releases. The light granule attack and the Sajuuk which is immune to damage feels unbalanced in gameplay.
But overall a fantastic mod.

Version 2 of this excellent mod has been out for a long while. I suppose it needs to be translated from Chinese which is why such a delay for English release. Anyone have any info on where to get it?

Good job on the latest mod. Progenitor is definitely a great addition. Your mod is shaping up to be one of the best HW2 mods.
The only aspect I would like to disable if possible is all the badges that flash up on the screen during battle and the messages about "so and so is on a killing spree". I appreciate some people may like this but I find them very distracting during battle as I would much rather focus my attention on tactics and keeping a close eye on the battlefield. Is there a way to disable this? Thanks again for a great mod.

Any chance you folks could upload the current (unfinished)version of your mod onto MODDB? I've followed your directions with the Tortoise program but it just stopped downloading halfway through and now can't be re-started. :-(

Excellent work so far. Screenshots look incredible and you are obviously a very talented modder. Can't wait to play a working release. I love also the inclusion of a Titan ship into the Trek universe.

Not sure if this is the right forum to mention but I've heard the Homeworld Licence has been officially purchased by Gearbox. What has already been confirmed is the original games will be re-released as budget games and Gearbox is open to working with the community via forums to steer its direction. Whether you like Gearbox or not, this is still great news as this means Homeworld is officially alive again and has a future.

Really enjoying the new 2.4 release. So much to explore. Especially love all the new maps with planet atmospheres...very clever idea. Would like to see more Homeworld 2 mods exploring alternative maps away from the space arena like you have done in this release. Makes the game feel really fresh and new. Thanks for you efforts

Any future plans of adding the Progenitor as a race to this mod? The FX Mod already has Progenitor with a full tech tree of fighters, frigates and capitals and game play is quite balanced. Would be a great addition to your mod.

Mine was doing that too in Windows 8 64bit. I changed compatibility mode to Windows XP and it works now.

This mod is a little gem I just discovered. Ship designs are excellent and AI plays very well. Planet visuals are gorgeous especially the Earth map.

The only minor issue I have (and this is not a criticism) is the maps are a little dark and it is hard to see the ships in all their beauty. In some of the maps I can really only see the ships properly if I rotate the camera so a planet is behind. Is there any settings I can adjust for lighting? But overall great work and very impressed with this mod.

The latest screen shots of the Maps with surrounding clouds and land mass/ oceans below look amazing. Very much looking forward to seeing those in game. It's still great playing in space but I think these new maps will give the game a welcome change of atmosphere. Can we expect to see them in the next release???
