Since a couple of months I´ve been working really hard on it. I don´t want to spoil the whole thing showing screenshots of every corner but I´ll think about some updates. Just for your info: The three maps the mod will include are in a state of about 80%, and done. After that I have to do some finetunning and set up the whole thing. Be glad, some of the stuff I´ve done lately beats the **** of all the media posted here.
Hell man! that video was awesome! I expect no less than 10 hours of vertiginous gameplay and a lot of new enemies, characters and weapons! I can´t wait for the MOTY for seeing this one making it to the "best upcoming".
It´d be awesome if at some point modders could use this as a base to enhace their mods. I mean, merging these cool effects with cool mods, so there are new effects and new maps to play.

Are you using some kind of FOV effect? Why the scenary looks blurry at short range and sharp at the distance?

No. Those models are just for being rendered and then taken shots as regular sprites. WE ARE NOT GOING TO USE THE QUAKE ENGINE NOR ANY OTHER ENGINE. WE´LL STICK WITH EDUKE32. Apart from that, we´re not making a new mod, those images are for possible updates for THIS mod.

I can explain you how to use this with the files of the steam edition. But it will NEVER work on the steam edition (unless they pay for a commercial Eduke32) because many of the features this mod uses aren´t supported by that, Workshop or not.

I´m cool. It´s just this particular person that annoys me. I don´t know how he earned the right to have admin powers, but he sure as hell is not using them properly. He renamed my mod twice because he thought his name idea was better, he changed the release date twice too and deleted many messages from this board. So, SU if you don´t know what the situation is. You may sense some arrogance on my posts when answering to other people, but that´s just part of the fun of being like Duke Nukem. This particular subject is different. I want him to stay the hell away from the stuff I do. The same way everybody would feel if their content is being constantly altered by someone that entitles himself to make changes on someone else´s work.

With Eduke you mean Eduke32? There´s only one way of playing this mod, and it´s explained in the TXT. You only need to copy the file duke3d.grp (the one that is 43mb big) from your atomic edition duke, into the same folder where you unpacked this mod.
