Depends on the player. It takes to me about 6 hours but i know every single corner of this mod.
There are no new weapons AFAIK. What the mod is plenty of is of weapon upgrades. Everytime you shot you gain points to upgrade your equipment.
Some sort of dudv map? looks too "liquid" IMO but still cool.
Can´t help but to point out that the revs counter is mirrored.

I always respect the intention of creating your own custom props. Even if they are quite basic, they unstick your mod from the overused hl2 assets collection.

Thanks to both for your comments. I´m not changing the light here, it´s supposed to have that old/sick feeling. Apart from that, if I learned something of experimenting with lights is that never go too far from yellow lights.

This is a moped, part of the decoration, on which i was working on sometime ago too. It´s finished and sitting next to a ice dispenser.
This is a tires repair shop, at the right side you can see part of that car model i was working on sometime ago. it´s still unfinished, lacks some skin details and a glass model.
This is a desk. Desks are furniture that people use for writting, or any other office related task. I was sad Hl2 stock assets didn´t include a desk and i saw there was a good one in Left 4 Dead. But this model made from scratch took me less work than what would have taken me to rip the one from that other game.
I rolled in the floor laughting and kicking when I walked this area and saw that those soldiers were actually white. lolololol

I´m only concerned about the plane hijack... How is it possible to rappel from a chopper to a airline plane´s wing, plant a bomb and enter it all while the plane is flying? It would be much more believable if the player remains hooked to the rope until the door is blown up.
Well had to maximize the image to see them. Still, I think you could use some small snow displacements in the roof and in that shed. And maybe in the truck too just to avoid editing a model for such tiny detail.

No. the "no offence" between brackets means nothing if you´re trying to offend (or instigate as in your case). I didn´t say all russians nothing. I said Exe files made by russians are suspicious. And that´s because many russians are involved in questionable internet things. Not all, but many enough to take safety measures.

Most spam mails I get are written in russian and most suspicios exe files i got my hands on are russians. Well just installed, be sure my rating will be reduced by 1 because of the suspicious installer.
Nobody likes exe files, they dont make the installation process feel more cool. They take control away from the user, and that is suspicios, more (without offence) if the author is russian.
I´m going to download this. But before I want to say that this mod definetely had less attention than deserved.

This is looking promising. I like all the hud elements although they take quite a bit of screen space.

Are you using some kind of FOV effect? Why the scenary looks blurry at short range and sharp at the distance?

That´s a rare problem that some people suffered. You should be able to reload the map by going to "new game" "usermap" and selecting damtop.map. You will lose all weapons you came with but there´s enough of them on the map to survive.
lol yeah. Reducing graphics doesn´t seem to fix the lag at all.

I gave it a go and I was amazed by the level of detail. I saw several sprites glitching. because I was using software. I read the txt prior playing it, wish I didn´t read it at all though :( . But I just overlooked the line that said "polymost" because I was 100% sure you were a classic mode lover.
I´m giving it a 9 because it looks amazing (specially loved the radio equipment) but fails to provide a solid gaming experience due to the lack of action. I never watched the film but I played a Half life 2 mod based on The Thing too -named Black Snow- And I must admit both things looked very similar.
Also, I hope this doesn´t sound harsh but I didn´t get at all what was I supposed to do. I pressed like a dozen switches -ala Roch- and entered all rooms (based on automap) but nothing seemed to do anything related to progression.
heh i made a very similar sky the other day and had the same problem yours seem to have. That pure blue noisy strip looks bad. (the same color the weapon has). I removed it by replacing it by one of the neighbour colors.
Seems to be a common problem when converting blue gradients.
Thanks for the suggestion. I want indeed to use weapons from the era. but the AR2 will stay because combine still have all their top notch technology. I´m using a sort of AK47 in replacement of the SMG, I´d go with the model you suggested if i knew how to create a weapon. I can model it, but i have very little experience in animating and rigging models. And I´m the only developer here.

I was driving a chevy around when slammed my brakes and had to struggle my eyes because i could not believe what i was seeing. THE VERY SAME PETERBILT FROM DUEL!!!! And it was stopped at the side of the road just like... Would you believe it began to chase me as soon as i passed by?

Be sure to raise the speakers volume as much as posible. My soundcard sucks and can´t record sound unless i put the mic next to the speakers.
Yes. That´s what i plan to do, the engine is already done and full of details. I´ll likely make the player take out the battery for using somewhere else. I just didn´t want to mention it to keep the surprise.

Decrease the lightmap scale in the roof and the wall that´s being lit by the window. I´d use 8 and 4 respectively.
Granted, i´ll add a trigger that enables props shadows when they´re taken down from the shelves. About the light spot, i don´t fully agree. light_spots are not realistic. I have similar lamps in my house and they pretty much look like these ones when turned on. I´d put both a light and a lightspot to emphatize the focus on the bottom part (As i do in some parts of the mod too) but won´t remove the regular light effect. It´s me or the cell shading is applied differently according to the scenarios? in the desert/canyon locations is barely noticeable but here it´s more evident. Cool contrast nonetheless.

Totally agree. But as i said somewhere, screenshots are mostly outdated. The funny thing is that the Gman is there just because i wanted to put a human to get measure of the building´s scale. I will bear in mind that about the surreal lighting, definetely adds atmosphere.
