What if you reload a previous savegame? I´m not sure there´s a workaround for that bug. I think you have to restart the level. If you didn´t save the game at all, go to "new game" "user map" and select damtop.map. You´ll lose all the weapons you carried to that point but you´ll be good to go with what´s in the level anyway.
Seamless textures, soft edges, dynamic lighting: things that don´t belong to this kind of game. If you´re new to it, you´ll get used at some point. There are many things Dukers don´t need to enjoy the game. Most of us actually do like those pixelated walls, sharp shading, flat sprites, etc. It´s part of the charm.
There are no autosaves on this mod. If you die and restart the level, you´ll start with the pistol. A few levels come with some weapony at the start, in order to adhere the policy of "make each level playable by itself". But to your question: You need to save manually (pressing F6 by default).
That´s a rare problem that some people suffered. You should be able to reload the map by going to "new game" "usermap" and selecting damtop.map. You will lose all weapons you came with but there´s enough of them on the map to survive.

Does your system require one GRP file with all (original game+mod) content included? If so that´s not very difficult to do. The problem is that this mod does not work with the Xbox Duke3d. It requires Eduke32 and won´t run with anything that is not it.
It is a shame there are no more mirrors to download this. Wish I kept an installer.

Well. I´m pretty sure you copied the wrong duke3d.grp then. Each Duke Nukem 3d version came with a different duke3d.grp, and here we require users to copy the atomic edition duke3d.grp. The best way to know if you got the right one is looking at its size. It should be 43mb. If it´s smaller (like 30mb), then it´s from an older version. Can´t believe you finished the mod with the wrong grp file. You must have missed tons of stuff.

We used Duke3d as a base, everything else has been made by us and the people who helped us. The only thing we got from 3DR´s DNF is inspiration.
There are some chances of seeing updates/additions but can´t really confirm anything yet.
In fact the actual Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam were built based on this mod.
lol yeah. Reducing graphics doesn´t seem to fix the lag at all.

It´s because Polymer has many problems running our maps yet. Mikko added code to prevent players to use it by placing a tile on the screen´s center but I never came around making a proper message for it.
