We used Duke3d as a base, everything else has been made by us and the people who helped us. The only thing we got from 3DR´s DNF is inspiration.
There are some chances of seeing updates/additions but can´t really confirm anything yet.
In fact the actual Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam were built based on this mod.
lol yeah. Reducing graphics doesn´t seem to fix the lag at all.

Are you using duke3d.grp from the atomic edition? it´s 43mb big.

It´s because Polymer has many problems running our maps yet. Mikko added code to prevent players to use it by placing a tile on the screen´s center but I never came around making a proper message for it.

Select a higher resolution in the game startup.
1- Maybe the music is too high. I usually lower it to the half.
2- There´s no reference to add, nobody follwing the installation instructions is going to suffer that.
3-I didn´t remove the hud. the hud size is controlled with the keys + and -, If you make it too small, it simply dissapears.
Yes and no. I started with that model but then made its legs from scratch and changed his face by another model´s face, plus I made things like changing the clothes to what it was like in the 2001 trailer.
You have to use dnf.bat. It´s explained in the install intructions and next to the download button.

Netplay is currently not working on Eduke32 (the port we use). If it gets fixed at some point we will incorporate coop.

You should not replace the provided exe file. Your leak problems are because you have not put a copy of Duke3d.grp in the folder, as the instructions read. You shouldn´t use polymer, as it is not supported.
We didn´t but some friend showed the trailer at least to one of the 3DR heads.
You are trying to run the mod with Polymer, which is not supported. You either imported your cfg files form another duke folder or tried to change rendermode in the console.
Open your eduke32.cfg and set Polymer = 0.

you should use a separate folder, and get your own binary from eduke32. The problem with dropping it in your regular duke folder is that many files will conflict with the original game, leading to undesired results (as missing voxels or textures, ****** up colors, etc.
You need to put a copy of Duke3d.grp (from your atomic edition)in the same folder and run dnf.bat
