It´s because Polymer has many problems running our maps yet. Mikko added code to prevent players to use it by placing a tile on the screen´s center but I never came around making a proper message for it.

Select a higher resolution in the game startup.
1- Maybe the music is too high. I usually lower it to the half.
2- There´s no reference to add, nobody follwing the installation instructions is going to suffer that.
3-I didn´t remove the hud. the hud size is controlled with the keys + and -, If you make it too small, it simply dissapears.
Yes and no. I started with that model but then made its legs from scratch and changed his face by another model´s face, plus I made things like changing the clothes to what it was like in the 2001 trailer.
You have to use dnf.bat. It´s explained in the install intructions and next to the download button.

Netplay is currently not working on Eduke32 (the port we use). If it gets fixed at some point we will incorporate coop.

You should not replace the provided exe file. Your leak problems are because you have not put a copy of Duke3d.grp in the folder, as the instructions read. You shouldn´t use polymer, as it is not supported.
We didn´t but some friend showed the trailer at least to one of the 3DR heads.
You are trying to run the mod with Polymer, which is not supported. You either imported your cfg files form another duke folder or tried to change rendermode in the console.
Open your eduke32.cfg and set Polymer = 0.

you should use a separate folder, and get your own binary from eduke32. The problem with dropping it in your regular duke folder is that many files will conflict with the original game, leading to undesired results (as missing voxels or textures, ****** up colors, etc.
You need to put a copy of Duke3d.grp (from your atomic edition)in the same folder and run dnf.bat

Thanks. After all, I´ve been spending most of this week exclusively to finish this mod. I didn´t even spare some time to shave my face or do social life.
relax I only got tired of the site "releasing it" automatically one day prior the date i set. it´s 28th here and i put 29, yet the mod changed to "release".
What do you mean with TX making a big fuss? And we didn´t have no strategy whatsoever. We published a trailer and it lived its own life. We didn´t expect anything from it more than showing what we was doing.

I gave it a go and I was amazed by the level of detail. I saw several sprites glitching. because I was using software. I read the txt prior playing it, wish I didn´t read it at all though :( . But I just overlooked the line that said "polymost" because I was 100% sure you were a classic mode lover.
I´m giving it a 9 because it looks amazing (specially loved the radio equipment) but fails to provide a solid gaming experience due to the lack of action. I never watched the film but I played a Half life 2 mod based on The Thing too -named Black Snow- And I must admit both things looked very similar.
Also, I hope this doesn´t sound harsh but I didn´t get at all what was I supposed to do. I pressed like a dozen switches -ala Roch- and entered all rooms (based on automap) but nothing seemed to do anything related to progression.
This site changes the date according to the region where an user is viewing it from. In my browser it reads 27 (i wrote 27 in the profile) but many people sees 26.
BTW I think i have said it already but it´s not fixed date. The mod is being betatested and subject to very minor changes not related to the playable part. It´s in many ways done.
