I'd be willing to tutor if that'd mean these guys get help. I don't have much time in a row, but either by skype or by mail I could give some assistance. Though not great with texturing myself, I do know how to UV unwrap and know the basics of texturing.

While it is a shame we won't be seeing the Infinity in action for some time, I do agree that this is a good solution. I wish you all the best with the work! Will be following things closely!

I only just found this game. It looks incredible. Heavily reminds me of seeing Homeworld for the first time. I have high hopes for this project! Good luck and keep up the good work!

Wouldn't a Banshee using its Fuel Rod gun be a better option for a bomber? The Seraph is such an elegant design, build for speed and fast attacks. Much more a fighter in my mind.

From what I read here, I understand that you're making this mod all by yourself. From one person who does that to another, I know what a pain it can be. Just remember that you're doing this gigantic task all by yourself and that's amazing. It is extremely hard to do; especially when such events happen in your personal life. Also, as long as people don't offer to help out, they have no right to bitch about things being slow. I look forward to your next update :)

Thanks for the advice, I am aware of the change and will make the needed changes as soon as I am nearing a release. But thanks for the heads up!

This didn't get shut down, somebody just decided to work on it and then after a while got bored and stopped. For your information, I am still working on a Halo mod after nearly 5 years (doing it all by myself)

I never cared much for the Athens Carrier's design, but now seeing that the design originated from the Phoenix, and seeing them next to each other, gave me a whole new view on this ship. Its actually done rather well!

It will take quite some time. I am still producing models and have yet to begin with getting models ingame and adjusting the game to the Halo universe.

chakotay02 Jan 29 2013, 10:56am replied:

That depends heavily on the kind of ship. I did the Infinity spread over a couple of days for several hours a day, while I'm now doing a UNSC refit/repair station in just several hours. Covenant is also a lot tougher to do then UNSC since the Covenant has a more organic form. Why do you ask?

My latest models aren't that low-quality if I do say so myself, as for their textures ... well, I'm getting better but I'm still not too good at texturing. I do my best, and that's all I can offer for now seeing as good texturers are impossible to find.

It saddens me a great deal to see this giant die out. I completely understand though, as I know how much time goes into these things. May I thank you all for a splendid time though? I thouroughly enjoyed following this mod for as long as I know of it.

chakotay02 Dec 16 2012, 1:29pm replied:

Hmmm, not only do I prefer to make my own models, but if I were to do that, there'd probably be too large a contrast with the models I have since some of their latest models are highly detailed. They'd be welcome to my models though, but I believe they too prefer to make their own.

This looks a little more like a Forerunner structure. Also, I see little to no place for Covenant to be present inside it. Could perhaps use a little more body?? Nonetheless; a very nice design.
