I love this site as it's so complete. All my favorite mods near each other.
Its not. I update once every month-month and a half. Have some patience. Or help out and help speed up things.
Nice to see Blood Gulch, but is this mod only gonna have Halo maps? Where are the typical Halo models? Marines, Covenant troops, the Masterchief etc?
What are the two bottom things next to that gas mine? Beneath the MAC platform and the Forerunner Dreadnought.
Thanks ^^ I really value feedback, and that its positive is nice :)
Haha, yeah of course she has.
I've decided to make this model either way. If I can see the model I can make a copy of the original and change it around a little and then decide what to do with it.
To I_Don't_Want_A_Name and Shaza, the reason First Offensive never had ground combat is because we hadn't gotten around to it. We first wanted to complete all space action and then focus on ground later.
Did you make all those models and textures yourself? And why did you start a new mod when you could have joined an already exisisting one?
Hey Ringleader, this looks great! Good to see you're back in the saddle.
One hand on his sword and one on his junk. That's the Trunks we all know :P
Kidding aside, brilliant work guys!
Holy **** Blamtroid. Just wow. I'd make it a special ship. It looks really awesome.
Sorry but some of us prefer some realism. :P Lol. Realism in a fictional universe. Anyway, you know what I mean.
Its the map Release.
New doesn't always mean better ...
Sabres were a(nother) top secret project. It probably wouldn't be realistic/close to cannon if you were to be able to make dozens of those.
The sabres were a top secret special program. Only a couple of them were build near the end of the war. Are we now going to be able to build these unlimited? That'd kinda be a let-down.
No, its not. Its a refitted colony ship.
Very nicely done. I hope things work out with the new teammembers.
No, he hasn't I'm afraid, though at this moment, I'm teaching two other people how to model and how to texture (though I feel I kinda suck at texturing myself).
Can't. This model is supposed to be low poly due to its small size and limited use.
You might want to post a new picture of this ship. Is it the same as CanadaMan's though? Cause then we've already seen it of course.
I think you're confusing two mods. Mine, Halo: Fleet Command and CanadaMan's, Halo: Sins of the Prophets.
My mod doesn't have an Orion class ship.
Though everything looks good, I do suggest using a couple of different textures for the landscape. Especially behing the plane so it has more of a path where it crashed. It looks like it dropped dead from the sky now. Everything else looks great though!!!
Hahaha, mods always take a lot of time. Remember that most of this is made in our spare-time. Besides, we have only one programmer at this time and he doesn't check in with us. You're welcome to join us though, to speed up the proces.
Seriously, don't even bother asking politely. That's usually a sure way to get someone to listen.
CanadaMan, take as long as you need to work most of the bugs out. *We* can wait.
She looks great. I especially like the refitted version.
The Elites will not be with the UNSC.
Its looking very good Velo! Very nice job indeed.
Yay! Another person who thinks the CE version is better! I'm not alone!
I've read all the books yeah, and I do suppose you have a valid point, its just that I think they took a very different direction with the new version. And I know about all the refit-options that were done, its just that I think its a bit too much model-wise. To me, its like putting missile launchers on a WWII-era ship, the main model would still be a little old.
But this is just my opinion :P Judging by all the reactions I've had so far, it seems I stand alone in this.
