I love this site as it's so complete. All my favorite mods near each other.
Do you mean the dark trading station in the back or the light grey things? The light grey things are part of the Forerunner Dreadnought.
Actually the ODP is exactly the right size. What you forget is that a Frigate was docked to it in Halo 2, so what I simply did was make the ODP then scaled it so it was capable of having a Frigate between its Umbilicals. Also the Halcyon and Spirit of Fire's sizes are known so the rest is rather easy to determine.
As for designing them like the Halcyon, I'm designing them in the UNSC style, so they are like the Halcyon and Marathon, which are a lot like each other. So yeah, they do look a like a little, but most ships have big differences.
I'm going to rebuild this and then change it into that.
Aaaw be nice to her, I quite like her thank you very much. Besides, if you have a better idea, I'd like to SEE it.
Look at the last ship in the line-up :P
Wait, what? Gameplay? This has a release?! When did that happen? *runs off to search for download*
Thanks Halocaptain, I know of the site, but the site isn't very helpful for this mod. Still, thanks for the tip :) A releasedate for this mod? Really hard to say. Right now I'm making great progress, but there are always ups and downs and with me working alone on this project, I really can't say when the first version will be released. You could still buy Nexus already though, its a great game if you like space combat.
The ship looks cool, I think that perhaps the house color is present a little too much. If its always blue its okay, but if you were red I think it'd look too much and too weird.
I might change it, but I quite like it. And yes, the design you're reffering to is a lot better, but they're not using that anymore.
It will be included, it just hasn't been made yet. As I put in the description; 5 more to go.
What kind of small-minded outcry is that Webzlinger? Besides, minus the Atlas, I really like the concepts. I'll be looking forward to seeing them modeled.
Nothing :P its a campaign prop :P
They stole it. Its a rather old carrier model though. At that time there already were several heavier models already.
What is FLCE? :P
One is a refit; armed and armored for war, the other an original colony ship; significantly less strong.
A colony is a city, and a colony class ship was carrying materials to set up a colony, so a colony class ship was large enough to carry a city and its people with it. That's a lot. A lot more then a division of marines, vehicles, fighters and pelicans and all. Remember that the Pillar was already carrying quite a lot of personel and material and that ship was only 1.17km long. But we can't know for sure what size a supercarrier is unless Bungie tells us really.
After Halogen got shut down, it hit morale hard for all Halo modders. Fortunatly some survived (like me). I just hope that this won't spark such a same case because if one mod were to get shut down, either more would be shut down or would fall apart from people fearing being shut down.
What you see here is the little progress that I've made in texturing :P I'm not good at it, but I try to improve myself. As soon as I have all models done I'll digg a little deeper into texturing and eventually I'll redo all models. This is, however, probably how they're all going to be in the first release.
It looks amazing. It really does. I don't know what else to say :P
I'll mostly stick to the books, then add some of my own things in to fill in the blanks.
I'll just be using that as a base, I'll be recreating it and changing it heavily so that it's more like the real Phoenix class colony ship bridge.
Cool ^^ Thanks, that's always nice to hear.
I'm just gonna use this as a base, I'll be making the entire thing from scratch but just wanted to show that I'll be using this as its base. I love the window area of this bridge.
Your ideas sound really cool. I can't wait to see it completely. :) One thing though, is the Pelican just for the show? Or will it actually have a function?
Almost 2 months yeah, I'm trying my best, but I have very little time to work on this :/ I'll try to get you some cool stuff within 2 weeks max.
Awesome that its going in the dock :D
It looks amazing. Great job guys!!
And what if they are done by pulse lasers?
