It's looks pretty obvious that people would be willing to buy this if it weren't for the cut content. Maybe Moenovel will get the message? I could just buy this and use the patch that adds back in the cut stuff, but then I don't really want to support this as it is now. It's great what they're trying to do, reaching out to the western audience but I can't stand for the cut content. I guess I'll just have to pirate this and in the future if they change what they're doing then I'll definetly be up for purchasing their products without the cut content.

Spent hours installing HL2, Ep1, Ep2, all of the Source SDK stuff and Alien Swarm. My PC is ready.

So, can this be played offline yet? Or will it ever be?

This mod, it's so, beautiful... I'm afraid. I don't now whether to play Lost Alpha or Lurk 1.2 when they are released... Probably have to go with Lost Alpha because of the new areas.

All those teaser videos with the music and the still camera are AMAZING! Five years on the XRAY Engine is still pulling this off... Amazing...

Sorry! I was to hasty with excitement before, just read all the news and stuff. THIS IS SO AWESOME! Quick question: how does some body get that many guns? In New Zealand (where I come from) you'd need twenty licences and be supervised by the police to use all that gear!

They said we'd (probably) have a release date by the end of Feb. That's not when it's coming out, just when they're (probably) going to give us the time it going to come out :)

The video, Dez says he'll PROBABLY be able to give us a RELEASE DATE by the end of Feb. IT's COMING!

I think the grass texture needs to somehow be more 'Jungle-y'

Are there going to be more 'randomised' side quests in Lost Alpha? As in the ones you can keep picking up from traders and the like. I mean, in free play after you've done everything else those are all we've got left, and combined with the randomised nature of the game they provide near limitless amounts of fun. After I'd get bored of one area, I'd start doing those randomised missions in the next and eventually come back round in a loop...

I think they were going to implement their own system so they took the old one about but didn't get around to putting there's in, like when the LURK mod disable artifacts :L Maybe in 2.0 there will be upgrades once more?

Same here in NZ. $120 is the norm, while CoD is always $150 (for new releases of course), PC games are are usually $10 cheaper though... This is all retail, too.

That looks like the real deal! I'm really glad I found this, FPSRPG is my favourite genre, as are post-apocalyptic settings. Will this cost money when it comes out? It looks of such a high quality...

Yeah, but because Hardcore mode is optional than if your playing it, your doing so with the knowledge you're going to die, otherwise it's not really hardcore...
