We know that many of you aren’t able to be in Vegas for the event, so we decided to bring it to you. We are VERY excited to announce that IGN will be our official live streaming partner for MineCon.

Catch the general session, coverage from the exhibit floor and get ready for some great contests all brought to you by our friends at IGN. Make sure you check out their announcement about it here.

We’re going to have a big contest with some awesome prizes for the hosts of the best MineCon live streaming parties. So invite all your friends, create your best costumes and get ready to party from wherever you are in the world!

Well, even though i am not that much into the whole minecon thing, but still, its quite nice, that we, smelly people or ordinary europeans can take a look at the event and take participation on some level..

?! Here in NZ I get 300 kb/s, and that's above average for most people. What's normal over where you are?

Mine ranges from 80kb/s, and 1.2mb/s at highest. I thought that was pretty high...
